After I shared my ideas, Tim called me a couple of days later and said, "Let me run something by you." The vision he came up with was even better than anything I had imagined. We couldn't be happier with the finished result. As with any renovation, there were a few bumps along the way, but Tim handled every challenge with professionalism, excellent communication, and a true dedication to his craft. His attention to detail and commitment to getting everything right really set him apart. The only downside to recommending him is that I don't want him to get so busy that I can't book him for my next remodeling project! If you're looking for someone who is talented, trustworthy, and genuinely cares about the finished product, Tim is your guy.

We always felt we could trust that he was giving us an honest assessment and not over-quoting a job. One thing we especially appreciated was how much respect Tim showed for the historic character of our home. The finished work felt true to the house while still updating and improving it. Tim does much of the work himself, but he also has excellent relationships with skilled subcontractors and specialists when needed. He knows when to bring in the right expert for a job. The people he works with are responsive, do quality work, and if something isn't right, Tim handles it appropriately and professionally. I accepted his price and he came out that Saturday with another guy. He then left his employee there who I had never met before. They ran out of materials because of waste, so the employee had to come back the next day. They still didn't finish and there are gaps in what was done. They were also supposed to complete a job at a second location. They were given a check for equipment they claimed they needed. They never did the work and were supposed to return the check. Instead it was cashed and a stop had to be placed on the check. Very dishonest people. Owner tries to play off the responsibility by blaming his employees who he supposedly fired or they quit. If you really feel the need to hire them, I would suggest watching these thieves very closely and make sure you have everything in writing including the name of the business and signed by the owner. If I knew what kind of people they were, I would've never hired them to begin with.
