I've been here a couple of times, and while it's definitely out of the way (about a 35-40 minute drive for me), it's worth it if you're looking for affordable home and patio items. They seriously have just about everything you can think of. I personally love shopping here for patio furniture and décor--tables, cushions, pillows--you name it. Anywhere else, patio stuff can get really expensive, but their prices are much more reasonable. I recently picked up two small side tables for my patio--one shaped like an orange and the other like a lemon--and I was honestly impressed with the quality. They have a nice weight to them and feel well-made. I went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't busy at all, which made for an easy, stress-free shopping trip. The store itself is huge, with a really wide variety of options, from home décor to patio pieces and even faux plants. The only downside was I didn't find one specific item I was looking for, but luckily there's a HomeGoods right across the street, and I ended up finding it there. awhile back my wife and I went to oldtime pottery in Stuart Florida to look for king size sheets, at that time there was a sale whe a red line was across the pric tag that ind that the item was 1/2 off, when checking out the cashier said it was not showing up as a 1/2 item even though the mark was the same on other items. the cashier called the manager Bill to the register and insisted it wasn't 1/2 price, I asked why not ? he said to my wife and myself, " how do I know you didn't make this mark? Old Time Pottery - Home Decor Near Me - Stuart, Florida

I have been shopping here for years and have always had good experiences & appreciate the variety of merchandise. That being said, I need to share my most recent experience with this store. I recently moved and many friends know that I frequent this establishment and gave me gift cards for housewarming gifts. In June I had purchased & returned several items. It appears that the cashiers or their system are not processing gift cards accurately!!! I was given a gift card by the cashier for $120. When I tried to use this credit, it was denied and I was told there was ZERO balance on the card!!! Needless to say I was livid, spoke to manager etc. they said nothing could be done!!! At this point, I began to worry about future purchases, returns etc. Fast forward to three weeks ago. I had several gift cards remaining and decided to use them up before I had another problem. Unfortunately, once again I had to return several items and was given a credit on a gift card for approximately $90. There was a manager at the register, I explained my concerns due to previous problems... he checked gift card before I left the store and assured me there wouldn't be a problem!! This time I was sure to keep receipt to verify balance on the card. I go back to the store two days later and I had the same EXACT issue with the manage and they told me once again that there was ZERO balance on my card and there was nothing that could be done about it!! This is a local store which I spend a good amount of money frequently. Two weeks ago I went into the store and picked out an outside table. I asked a clerk if I could take the display model because I didn't want to have to put the table together myself. She was very nice and helped me load it and took it up front and told me I could continue to shop and the table would be up front at the register. When I finished shopping, I took my additional items up front and couldn't find the table. When I inquired about the table the clerk had brought to the front for me a cashier asked the manager what happened to the table and the manager responded, "she can't have the display"! She said it so nastily that I just left my cart at the front and left. When I got into the parking lot I was so furious to be treated so badly that I went back into the store and waited in the line of the manager. I asked for her name and she refused to tell me. I told her she was very rude to which she responded, "I know you, you're in here all the time and you're always complaining, get out of my store"! I was absolutely flabbergasted and I told her I had never laid eyes on her in my entire life and I didn't know what she was talking about. She continued her disgusting, disrespectful rant and continued to tell me to leave her store. I left alright and I will never, ever spend another nickel in that store as long as that horrible nasty person continues to work there. It's really sad, but this appears to be what our shopping experience at this store has become. With Home Goods and TJ Max directly across the street, I will have no problem at all finding what I need in those stores and always having a pleasant experience at both places and never being asked to leave their stores! I am a local business owner and if I treated my customers this way, I wouldn't have a business. I will tell everyone I know and discourage my family and friends from spending their money in that store. We were stuck in this area for a few hours while our car was being repaired nearby. After having lunch, I looked around for some place to walk to kill some time. Old Time Pottery was close by, so I checked it out. It is a craft and home goods store with many,many items. I ended up buying some gold, marked down decorations left over from Christmas (was there on Jan.2) to use for my daughter's gold color scheme wedding. The interior is huge. There is much to see. Went to store at checkout they told us no more veterans discount. The one cashier said it stop that day the other cashier turned around and told us at a meeting they were told the veterans don't deserve it because half of them were drafted. I asked to speak with the store manager and she said he would have told me the same . She told us she gave her notice and already was looking for another job because she couldn't work for a company that didn't respect the veterans.
