Anyone that knows me knows how I am with my cars. I am a collector, a restorer, and a preservationist with cars. I trust Bill with our cars.

Took my car to capital tech for a leaking water pump. James did this work on his own time which…read moreinvolved changing the water pump as well as the timing chains and tensioners. About 2 weeks later the car developed an oil leak from the area of the crankshaft seal and or the timing cover as well as the front valve cover gasket, all of which he had to change. I paid James 900 dollars cash and I supplied the parts needed to do the job. Now after 2 weeks of text messages and 2 or 3 phone calls to my place of employment, James said he has not forgot about me. I have now taken the vehicle to another mechanic for the repairs. This review is not about Capital Tech itself but the mechanic. I am expecting these repairs to cost another 300 to 500 dollars on top of the almost 1600 parts and labor already spent. This post from a dissatisfied customer who is retired but work a part time job Sincerely Larry Ellis

I do recommend going there and making an appointment. I made the appointment last week to bring my car in with a laundry list of repairs. This morning I parked my car in their parking lot and dropped my keys through the door as instructed. Derrick just called me before 10am and cancelled some unnecessary repairs that were recommended by another shop... All in all I'm so happy!

From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with professionalism and respect. I would like to specifically recognize Tyler, one of your representatives, for his exceptional customer service. Tyler was not only highly professional, but also kind, courteous, and efficient in addressing my needs. He communicated clearly, stayed focused on the task, and ensured that my visit was smooth and stress-free. In today's fast-paced world, it is truly refreshing to encounter someone who takes pride in their work and treats customers with genuine respect. Tyler's approach reflects positively on your organization and sets a strong example of what excellent service should look like. Please extend my appreciation to Tyler for his outstanding service. Kasey, I am not normally one to complain and has actually never did for a business before. I had…read morean appointment at 4 pm to replace one tire on my son's car in East Greenbush today. I got there 15 minutes early not expecting them to start right away. It took an hour and forty five minutes to do the one tire. Now I don't mind waiting it's just while I was there in the beginning I received basic customer service. That fine also. However, when a man came in after for 4 tires they treated him like royalty. They promised to get it done quickly and even checked on him and gave updates. They reminded him what great customer service they gave while never acknowledging or looking in our direction. When the man was on the phone just saying where he was the manager chimed in I hope you are saying good things. Plus reminded the man of the great customer service he received. That he didn't want him leaving unhappy. Then another man came in and the same manager was so nice they never met before and they chatted about previous jobs and vehicles they have owned. Great customer service. So after an hour and a half after the man that received fast and friendly service had left. I got in line to ask about the status of my son's car. When I made it to the counter the same guy in charge giving great service just walked away like I was not standing there and never came back. Nobody looked at me at the counter while I waited there for another half an hour. Yes, I stood waiting to ask about the status of my son's car for a half an hour. There is a glass window they can all see me. They finally came out to have me pay and give me the key. The same manger that was so friendly did not come to greet me he sent his employee. I asked them if it is normal to wait an hour and forty five minutes for one tire when you have an appointment . I only complained because I was being treated completely different then the men were. He said it doesn't matter if you have an appointment we take people as they come in. I said ok but the man that came in after me was in and out and got 4 tires and I waited an hour and forty five minutes for one tire. I asked him is it because I am a woman? I got no reply. Not sorry for making you wait no let me get the manager that has been completely ignoring you. Just my complaint or question was completely ignored. I didn't ask for money off I didn't ask for anything just acknowledgment that I even existed in your shop. So if it's not because I am a woman is it because it was my son's 2014 Ford Focus that he has had since he was 16 which and won't part ways with. Was my car not valued as high or my business because it was one tire. I just ask to have everyone who comes into that shop receive the same customer service and not be ignored for whatever reason he was ignoring me and the concerns I voiced. Which I never do I was just pushed way farther past my limit than any other place. At least acknowledge the customer in your shop male, female, or whatever the reason you completely ignored me for.
