The corporate pricing practices are really out of control. People often run into a pharmacy to buy quick items that they might need, but that they might usually have purchased elsewhere such as at a grocery store, for instance, you might go in and grab a quart of milk, some cheese or a box of crackers. This is where CVS skewers the customer through the chest. I know this is a convenient store, but that doesn't mean that a company should frequently screw the customer for example there's no reason that a box of wheat thins, a small box at that, should cost $6.49!!! One might do better, price wise, buying snacks in the ripoff stores at an airport! Or perhaps at a concession stand at a baseball stadium! Don't expect any bargains. The service here is certainly more attentive, personal and caring. We were able to chat with the staff...we were the only customers in when we arrived one late morning. The staff couldn't have been nicer. We were in and out in about ten minutes. I have nothing against CVS and frankly have done a lot of business at one of the CVS pharmacies in my town, there are several. But we may be slowly shifting more of our business to this lovely pharmacy for more personalized care.

In this economy, I generally shop elsewhere most of the time now, unless I need something and can't get through traffic in time elsewhere. There's surely a number of good points, but the prices are really painful, even with the rewards card thingy. If you are smart, you can actually use the coupon rewards card to get makeup really cheap, or sometimes even free. They do have a lot of great deals on makeup and cosmetics each month.

Due to COVID I was working remotely so the CVS near my office was out of the way. At first they were great, very friendly and filled my prescription quickly. Lately however that has not been my experience. The last two times I went for a refill my prescription was not ready and the person behind the counter had an attitude.
