Word is Asia makes the best burgers on the trail and she did not disappoint. We ordered inside but sat at a shaded picnic table outside. Our food was delivered quickly. As we ate, the owner Jeff came outside to welcome us which was a nice gesture. We are adding Wayside to our list of preferred stops while bicyling the great trails in the area.

Well, my bad - their website includes multiple accessible places to park in and around the village. That said, we got it, and decided to belly up to the bar for a better look at the offerings and the place in general. Matt O was our server. I started with a delicious Scottish Ale, and my companion had a glass of wine. Prices are reasonable. My companion ordered and raved about the Shepherd's Pie. I had Bangers & Mash - sausage (3 pieces) with imported horseradish mustard, mashed potatoes, gravy, delicious baked beans. It went perfectly with my pint! It was a warm afternoon so the glass garage doors were opened wide and folks were eating and drinking outside in the beer garden too. The vibe was loud, lively and very positive. Music was old school British Invasion '60s style. Good times seemed to be had by everyone. We finished with a locally produced Chocolate Rum Cake - it was rum forward and smooth, dark chocolatey! Bartender then told me I had to leave because ppl were outside talking about fighting me if I didnt leave and they were there first. I told bartender that's fine but I'd be speaking to connie again. Bartender then said that's fine that's my aunt so get out of here with that bullshit. Bad for business if I say so myself. The ones that shouldve been made to leave was the ones ready to fight.
