We just realized that they have a new location in Farmington on Karsch. We went in & the place looks great. We wrote down our sammich orders & browsed the shelves. By the time we left we had a great variation of dried fruits, some yummy sammiches, & some pretzel balls. We're so stoked they are in town now!!!! read more

LOVE this place!!!! I could spend hundreds of dollar every time I walk in. The cheeses are great. They have a great selection of hot cheeses. The deli meats are wonderful too. The chocolate chip cookies are to die for. My husband love the frozen pies that we take home to cook. There is SO MUCH more to try: fresh baked bread, jellies/jams, canned goods, fresh vegies, there is just so much more. And I didn't even get into the gifts. WOW this is a must see. Love the Candied Jalapeno barbecue sauce! It's got just enough spice to make it good but it's not hot. I can even eat it straight out of the jar & I don't normally like barbecue sauce if it's not precooked on the food. But this stuff is absolutely amazing!! Ole Tyme Pantry is the place to go! I love going to Ole Tyme Pantry to buy baking needs, or fresh breads are delicious hot sandwiches! They also have some of the best deli meats and cheeses. There is a section of suites for diabetics, something that's very rare at stores anymore. I will continue to shop here for a long time. All of the staff is very friendly. I love going in the Old Tyme Pantry. I love buying in bulk. They have all the spices, mixes, fresh breads, pies, snacks, and candy you need. I love the deli also. This is a great bulk spice/furniture store/bakery/deli run by a Mennonite family. As soon as you step inside, you're enveloped with the wonderful aroma of fresh baked goods. The deli makes great sandwiches on their housemade bread. The rest of the store includes bulk spices at great prices, candy, jams, beef jerky, and fresh baked goods. There are household goods and furniture for sale, too. If you've never been to a store like this before, you should definitely check it out. The bulk spices/cooking and baking selection is staggering. The prices are great, too. If nothing else, you won't find a better sandwich in Farmington than at this deli counter! read more

The store brings back the sweet childhood memories of my mother's kitchen's smell in October-December where she baked the cookies and bread from scraps not from the cake mix boxes. It is a special treat to have this store in southeast Missouri. Homemade bread, cookies, cakes, sweets, dehydrated fruit&veggies, chips, cheeses, etc. It's easy to find through GPS and locals call it 'The Amish Store', though they (Mennonite) might be offended by using that name. We were really pleased on our first trip (got to taste the free samples at the door) and will be the new regular costumers. read more

Have to say I will miss the nice drive out to the old place, by pleasantly surprised to hear of their good fortunes. Our family enjoys the unique brands of goods they offer and I personally have to grab one of their sandwich's each time. The staff is always friendly and helpful. My wife's employer bought sandwiches for work pne day and we wanted to try it on our own. Stopped in today to get sandwiches. We all had paninis. They were fresh and very good. I recommend the german bologna. My 10 year old son commented that he wished his sandwich would never end...which for him that is a huge compliment. Prices are reasonable. Today was my first time going to the Ole Tyme Pantry. The homemade loaf bread is to die for, we had it with our dinner tonight. YUM!! Also bought a pecan danish which was also delicious! Make sure you make over to the deli counter. They have a great selection of cheeses, plus they let you taste it before purchasing. I purchase the Garden vegetable, smoked Swiss, smoked hot pepper and the green onion. They all taste great. Also picked up a couple different flavored pretzels, Cinnamon and cheddar. On your wait in line also put in your cart some of the chocolates. I will definitely be back !! read more

Love this place. Lots of the home redmedies work better than anything I have tried. The sandwiches and deli meat and cheese are really wonderful. The people are very helpful.
