It has the cutest little white picket fence. You walk in and are absorbed by different teas, spices, and herbs. And not in a teavana way, this place is so welcoming, like your grandmas house. They had some really awesome, hard to find and unique spices, like myrrh. They also had a TON of brands of tea, different styles, something for everyone. They had a separate room for tea. Pretty much, you can pick anything you want and they'll make a fresh cup for you right there. My fiancé was in love. They sold all the tea accessories, like matcha bowls and whisks, strainers, mugs. Everything you can think of. And then, in the mix of this, is art and antiques. Delicately placed, almost like it was all meant to be there, but you can buy it all. It's so cute!!…read more The woman who helped us was so sweet, I have a single hive of my own and I find a lot of people in the bee world are very degrading to new keepers, she was not AT ALL. We chatted for a little about it, and we found out she has hives all over the city. So cool. The shop itself has so many useful items to buy, I ended up grabbing a honey pot for easy use. We love it. They of course have traditional jars of honey, hot honey, and honey sticks (which we had to indulge in). She also let us try a couple meads, which was awesome! From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was bright, cheerful, and inviting. The staff greeted us with genuine smiles and made us feel like longtime regulars, which was such a refreshing experience. One of the team members kindly took the time to share some of the locals' favorite drinks, which helped us decide what to try. We each ordered something different, and every drink was absolutely delicious. I chose the Mocha Monster, a blended frappe with Oreos and an added shot of espresso. It was divine! [Gives Scooter's a run for their money, and I'm a loyal customer.] We spent time sipping our drinks, chatting, and simply enjoying the cozy, unhurried vibe.
