I discovered Olga as an approved vendor through one of the wedding venues I toured. I was amazed by her gorgeous work that I viewed via Instagram and was even more encouraged to use her services when I saw the amazing Yelp reviews. I was so confident in her with her timely communication leading up to my wedding and the attention to detail she had throughout my whole event. However, her communication with me faded once my event concluded. Our contract stated that I would receive a wedding preview with 50 photos the next day. My wedding was the weekend of memorial day, but I had to reach out 4 days after my wedding to inquire about the sneak peek. She responded promptly and got me my photos that day, but I would have appreciated communication about my photos running behind, especially since that was part of the contract. The contract also stated I would receive all my wedding photos within 6-8 weeks of my wedding date. I reached out to Olga on week 9 to ask about the ETA of my photos. She let me know I'd have them by that weekend and apologized that she was running behind with editing. I did not receive my images until 11 weeks after my wedding date, despite being told I'd have them week 9 which was already a breach of contract. I thanked Olga for her gorgeous work; regardless of the lateness my photos are absolutely stunning and I do appreciate Olga's great work. I did convey my disappointment to her and tried to intiate a compensation solution. Had the photos been received on time as contracted, my husband would have been able to view them for the first time with me, but he is now currently deployed through the season and will not be able to see them until he returns. It was not the experience we were anticipating. I emailed her on August 15th and it is now September 4th and I have yet to obtain a response from her. 3 stars may be too generous given my experience with her, but her work is lovely. It is just late. I don't think this would have been an issue if she had just updated me in advance that she had overbooked herself for the summer and was running behind, but I was worried I was not going to receive my package since I kept receiving false promises. So excited that we booked Olga for our joint maternity and newborn package for our second baby. Olga's vision is amazing! Olga was great to work with from start to finish. When I reached out to her about her services, she requested we get on a brief call to find out more about the event and made sure to follow up a few days before the big day to iron out more of the details. My now husband and I had a small ceremony in Balboa Park at the Rose Gardens. Olga arrived before we did to scope out the area and find the best lighting. My family can be a little like herding cats, but Olga wrangled them in and got them in place with ease. After the ceremony, she guided us to the best places for photos throughout the park. Olga is such a treasure! Nothing brings you closer to a photographer than having them be a part of your most intimate moments. We had Olga document the birth of our youngest, and she was such an integral part of my birth team and experience. Leading up to the birth she often checked in on how I was doing and we talked plans and expectations. A week before the due date I found myself in a emergency situation while at the doctor for a routine check up, and when I went to text my husband and Olga that it was go time, coincidently I find a text from Olga asking if she could bring by tacos (a girl after my own heart and and a dream for every expecting momma with cravings!) I message her about the unexpected turn of events and that I was heading to the hospital, so tacos will have to wait. Immediately she jumped to action and let me know she would head out - even asked if I had care for my toddler set up. She met me at the hospital even before I was checked in, and was there for 21 hours ... leaving just long enough to drop off my toddler to daycare (seriously, above and beyond!)! Her gentle and kind presence, along with her ability to anticipate every need imaginable makes her the perfect choice for a birth photographer. After the birth she sent me photos what seemed like almost immediately and they were all stunning! We were looking for a photographer to make family Christmas pics on a very short notice. I came across Olga's Facebook page and loved her pics. I contacted her to see if she was available and she was!!! She was very professional on the phone, we discussed the theme and all the details. When the date came Olga arrived earlier than time schedule to check the house, the lighting and meet the family. We had 5 people plus 2 babies photoshoot and Olga made great contact with everyone including babies.
