My father figure was diagnosed with terminal cancer and given 3-6 month left to live, we canceled our wedding as he was going to marry us and host our wedding at his home. Emotionally our family was drained. Olga refused to give us any money back after we provided documentation. This woman is BAD for business! We found out less than two weeks after booking with her, $1800 and no refund, no reschedule nothing. She claimed to be completely booked out for the remaining year!!! Renting from Olga's Rustic Rentals was one of the worst experiences I have ever had and people should be aware of how Olga runs her company. Starting from the beginning, I rented a few items from Olga for my drive by baby shower. I requested to rent the items two Saturday's in a row since I was having two separate drive bys for my family/friends. Everything was great for the first Saturday. I picked up my items on a Friday and was scheduled to return them on Monday since they are closed on Sunday. Monday comes around and I'm getting ready to load my items into my car to drop off and I get a text from Olga that morning stating, "Sorry, we are out of town for a wedding," asking me to change my schedule and drop the items off on Tuesday. Normally, that would not be a problem but my week was jam packed with work and appointments. I had scheduled my day off around getting my drop offs done on Monday, since that is the day we agreed on. I let Olga know that this wouldn't work for me and she offered to pick up the chair, but for a $50 fee. I was so shocked by this. I just didn't understand how I was going to be charged a pickup fee when this wasn't something that was my issue. She was unexpectedly out of town, which isn't the issue, I totally understand plans change. To expect someone to pay a fee to have an item picked up for something that was out of my control just isn't fair. I asked Olga to work with me and asked for suggestions on another way to get the chair to her and she was unwilling. Olga then text me that she would be refunding my money and cancelling my upcoming rental 4 days before my event! I was completely shocked and I didn't even understand why. To cancel someone's rental because they didn't agree to an extra charge from something that was the business owners issue is awful business practice. To add that much stress to a pregnant woman four days before her event so that she has to now find another company to rent from is just completely cold hearted. I realized that she just didn't care so I started looking for another company. I expected she'd be refunding me and only charging me for what I used from my previous Saturday event. Boy was I wrong. Olga still owes me $100 and is refusing to refund me. SHE cancels my event and has the audacity to keep MY hard earned money. I gave her a chance to make it right and she just doesn't care. I have screenshots of all of our conversations to back this up. My goal is not to tear another business down. I do want to be sure people are aware of my experience so that they can make an informed decision of whether or not they'd like to spend their hard earned money on a service that treats a customer so poorly like this. If I was in the wrong, I'd take full responsibility, but I don't feel that I am at all. I come from a family of small business owners and I fully understand that the customer is not always right and I do understand how people can be. I do believe that it is your responsibility as a business owner to take ownership of things that are clearly not at the fault of the customer and make it right. DO NOT HIRE OLGA FOR YOUR EVENT! Her pictures and what she promises are not what she delivers the day of. This is from my personal experience and from other reviews I've read it sounds like a reoccurring issue. I purchased the wedding package for 50 guests. Which was to include phone consultations, 2 hour prior delivery & 1 hour of styling. My wedding was a destination wedding near Yosemite and I was hiring her from online due to living in different states. All communication was done via email, text, and phone call. The planning prior was extremely stressful because Olga would forget plans we had made or she would schedule to do video call table "mocks" and no show each time and never answer. She was very unorganized. Fast forward to wedding week, Olga had reached out to call and confirm everything was set for our Thursday wedding...Wednesday Olga calls to confirm delivery for Saturday(not my wedding day) I had to remind her my wedding was tomorrow. She said she got the dates mixed up and had another event tomorrow but would make it work. Day of wedding Olga does not show up at the time she said she would, instead says she's late due to a collision. She shows up unprepared and does not style my wedding like shown in our mock, does not delivery everything I rented and left. Thankfully my bridal party and family helped correct the "styling" Olga left. But I was still disappointed that the table runners I asked for where not the ones delivered, I didn't receive the drinking glasses like rented, and my table presentation was nothing like Olga advertised. Due to her not providing the water goblets that was rented my guests had to use the same glass for champagne, water, wine etc. guests were dumping out their water to pour champagne for a toast. It was esthetically Unpleasing and disappointing. I will attach pictures of what my personal "mock" was supposed to be from Olga and what she delivered. The only thing different in these pictures is we did not purchase her dried flowers that are shown in the mock. The day after the wedding my sister, a wedding photographer that knows the business well, spoke with Olga nicely to explain she did not deliver what was expected or payed for and Olga did not seem to care and said "whatever you tell me is not going to bother me" I believe Olga is good at ONE table fake styled shoots for IG but not for actual weddings. As a Bride that regrets hiring her for my wedding day, save your money and hire through a different company! read more

I've rented from Olga from the start of her business to her busiest and have to say that I really appreciate how much inventory she has. As a small business owner myself, I like to work with other vendors first before I share it with my clients to ensure that they are a good standing business, organized, honest and transparent. Olga is the sole owner and works hard managing her business which has quickly grown. With that in mind, she still maintains professionalism, gives great input on set up and tear down, and is realistic about the wedding/events industry. Some may see that as off-putting but as a wedding vendor myself, things come up and you have to roll with the punches and still exceeds in ensuring that everything is perfect for your special day. At first, Olga seems to be really accommodating but she is very unorganized. She did my wedding back in March and like another bride who left a review too, she also forgot my wedding day. My wedding was on a Friday & she thought it was on Saturday (I've already corrected her on this before my wedding day). Come Thursday, the day she was suppose to set up, she doesn't show up. I call her and she said she thought my wedding was on Saturday so I asked "Okay, can you come now?" and she said she was booked already that day and will have to come tomorrow. She agreed to come early morning tomorrow, but ends up coming late. I loved my wedding day, but sometimes I feel like I was robbed of my emotions on my wedding day. I really wanted to be fully present and enjoy the day but she really stressed me out to the point that I cried on my wedding day and the day before. She ended up getting all the rentals set up before the event but she did not seem to have any remorse for any of her actions. I didn't want to leave this review, but after seeing others speak up, I felt that it was the right thing to do. I don't want any other brides to go through the stress I went through on my wedding day. The rentals were beautiful, but the experience was a horror story. We rented from Olgas rental for a bridal shower. Her company requires a downpayment in order to secure the rentals but her website didn't offer the option so we had to pay in full. Then, due to Covid, we had to cancel our event. She only refunded us half of the full price when she was supposed to refund us a three quarters of the price. When we tried contacting she was not willing to work with us. I would not rent from her anymore. read more
