So stay close, listen up, and follow... "The Paper Trail" For this review, it's definitely going to feel more like a "Thank You Letter" with nothing, but Love for this mom & pop business. It'll be an opportunity for me to "Drop a Line"... A chance to "Make a long story short"... (Which I NEVER do) Trust me, according to people who know me.... It's the "Story of my Life" haha. But just so you know.... This review will be the furthest thing from a "Dear John Letter".... Because today, There will be absolutely No Breaking Hearts! In fact, I'm going to do the complete opposite!! I am going to write this review with Pure LOVE and I promise you that I will do my best to... "DOT all of my i's and CROSS all of my t's!" So sit back, get comfortable and watch me closely as I Virtually put this "Pen to Paper". In November 2025, while casually walking Pine Street in Downtown Paso heading towards the Cowgirl Cafe for breakfast, you know for a fact that I window shopped every single business along the way. As I approached Sealed With A Kiss, I couldn't help but CHUCKLE & SMILE as I looked at all of the fun things they had in their window display. The tea towels with clever sayings... The decorative signs with witty messages... It was just what I needed to brighten my day and have a little laugh to myself. Yeah, Right, then, & there... I knew that once breakfast was over, I definitely was coming back to see what other fun things this place had in store. Once breakfast was over and before my food coma set in.... I wanted to see what this shop had to offer, maybe even pick up something for back home or even gea gift. From the get go.... I saw a whole wall full of custom greeting cards with fun art and even funnier messages inside of them... Move over Hallmark, because the creative peeps behind these custom cards definitely don't have "Writers Block". Fast forward to a full & satisfied belly from a yummy breakfast at the Cowgirl Cafe and I was now ready to shop. Upon walking into Sealed With A Kiss, we were immediately greeted and welcomed with a smile. We freely browsed all of the fun, eclectic items in store and I had a good time checking out their custom greeting cards with funny little messages. We did purchase a flour sack towel for our kitchen with California Poppies on it and it is now proudly displayed on our stove. The gentleman behind the counter and the lady working in store were very kind and we chit-chatted a bit on where we were from and how long we were in town. To simply "Put it into words"... We as the customer felt welcomed and were happy to give them our business. So.... The next time you come to Paso Robles, I encourage you to come check this place out and leave your own "stamp of approval." For now, I'm signing off and you are free to mark this Review as... They also offer free gift wrapping with nice paper, ribbon, and a gold foil Rexall sticker on the package. My main hesitation for that fifth star is the unrelenting onslaught of "can I help you"s, where it almost feels like you're being monitored while you browse. Of course it's always great to have help when you need it, but I find this level of engagement disconcerting and it makes me want to hurry up and get out of there. The prices on most items are higher than my budget allows, but they seem to be making the model work. I bought a pair of earrings here for $40 last week. It was too close to closing to have it gift wrapped but the cashier asked if I'd like a box for them. When I got home I realized she'd bent the cardboard card the earrings were mounted on to fit it into the box. Not a big deal but this did not make for a great presentation of them as a gift. This has not been my experience usually, as they almost always do a very nice job with the (free!) gift wrapping. They are closed on Sundays.

Initially the process was ok but I've never had an order take less than a week. Then I was told that insurance companies were "squeezing" them on pricing so I had to pay the difference between what insurance would pay and the profit they wanted. Finally they added a $30 "surcharge" to every visit. I finally had it after I picked up 2 prescriptions and the total was over $100! They also have inexperienced counter help who were unable to answer any questions and simply handed me a piece of paper that said the insurance companies were to blame. I had to take my business elsewhere, these people are taking out their anger at insurance companies on customers.
