We loved working with Kim for our Wedding flowers. From our first meeting she was so knowledgable and really showed us her passion. We got married at the Santa Margarita Ranch and there was a lot of space to decorate! She worked with our budget and provided us with alternatives that were cost efficient and really made the entire property shine. She adds little touches that make all the difference in the world. Her flowers set the stage and romantic mood for the whole day and we couldn't say enough things about her, her work and our experience. The big items we had were 2 florals cascading down the stairs at our "alter", two barrel floral arrangements that highlighted our entire ceremony site, the shepherds hooks that added a bit of romance to the ceremony. She draped the front entry gate to the ranch which had never been done, and she made it happen and it looked AMAZING! She decorated the wagon beyond our expectation (see photo), of course centerpieces and table decor for the reception but notably we rented her trees that lined the inside of the barn. It brought warmth in our winter wedding and some sweet lighting to the barn. We absolutely felt like she worked with us on cost and we were able to have everything we wanted. It was a truly perfect day, I couldn't have asked for better, and she took our vision and idea and made it a dream come true! We chose all white flowers, with some greenery and curly willow in the centerpieces only. We used various textures of white flowers in the bouquets that were to die for! Kim met with my fiance and I a handful of times, since we are the "hands-on" wedding planning types, and she indulged us every time we had a change of heart or new idea. I'm a designer from DC and having a wedding entirely across the country was nerve-racking, especially considering flowers are a detail I absolutely notice. The arrangements were gorgeous and fresh. I didn't see a single blemish on any of the flowers. The arrangements included flowers, foliage, and fruit, which were apparently incredibly delicious looking because I busted the groomsmen eating the apples. She took my inspiration images and made them unique for me instead of just repeating what I sent her. Which was my ultimate deciding factor for choosing her, she embellished on my wants with her great knowledge. It was amazingly simple to work with Kim and I am incredibly happy with the experience!! SIX STARS! My wife and I meticulously planned our wedding and three days before the wedding had to change our florist! In a panic, and out of sheer desperation, we started calling and emailing florists at 10 pm and lo and behold Kim called us back less than 15 minutes later. Again, this is late in the evening. She calmed us down and let us know that this happens to 3-4 couples a year. Even though it was last minute, she pulled some strings, called her awesome staff, used her considerable experience and clout in the area, and the results were FANTASTIC. Even though it was on an emergency basis, she still gave us a more than reasonable price, and from the results, you would never know that we had not been planning these flowers for months. She had amazing ideas and the ability to execute every one to perfection. She worked with me to create custom Edison lighting fixtures to hang at the reception, she came up with the idea of a Bourbon bar (my husband's favorite drink) and executed it to a T, including amazing details like custom napkins and a theme that was deeply personal.
