Been using Albert's Florist for about 7 months now and have been very happy with the results I have seen. Each month I order my favorite woman flowers and have them delivered to her work. Each time, she and her coworkers are taken back by just how beautiful the arrangements are. I think EVERYONE was overly impressed with the long stem roses that were ordered early and delivered for Valentine's Day. I did however make a mistake and order flowers that were scheduled to be delivered on a holiday (Monday). The delivery guy called me and said the office was closed and asked if he could deliver them to her home. Unfortunately, home was 30 minutes north in Paso Robles and I was told to call the shop. Upon calling the shop, the gal who I spoke too said it would be no problem. She said they would bring the arrangement back, sell it in the store and create another arrangement for delivery on Wednesday. I thought that was fantastic and didn't expect that sort of service. So Albert's quality and customer service has me coming back as a regular customers. I was so please with the wonderful, beautiful roses delivered yesterday to my wife for our anniversary. I've been search for the right florist locally for the 3 1/2 years we've lived here was no success until now. I had to settle for the online florist who's flowers were nice, but delivery was sometimes a challenge because I'd had such bad luck with local florist who often charged far more than the flowers or service delivered. This is the best florist in town! They are a small family run business, so not only do you get to buy beautiful flowers - you feel great about it too! I have come in here for several different occasions and they are always happy to help me pick out the perfect assortment for that occasion. They do have pre-made assortments, but I typically prefer selecting the flowers I want. From there they bundle the flowers together, pretty them up and I'm on my way. The price point can be a little high, but you are paying for quality. Make sure you call ahead for large holidays, but most other times you should have good luck just walking in. I went to Albert's florist as a trial run to see the experience of the florists and see how they would go with their artistic approach. Speaking with them and going through the order, they listened very well to what I was requesting. I left open specific details open to their interpretation. Customer service I would give a 4 out of 5 as they were attentive, though they were not sure exactly on their inventory nor what they would exactly have in stock having to check their own website. Payment was done in cash and it was a hefty price at $$$ with a nice tip to hopefully ensure I got the best product possible as this florist shop is one of the top rated shops in the area. For the price and the product delivered. I am thoroughly disappointed with what was paid for. I feel I was better off going to costco than going to a shop that makes a profession in this. The price for this product was about 180 with a 30 dollar tip. I feel this is a product worth more around 80, and I handed out a 120 dollar tip.. I don't recommend custom orders from this shop. I had a vase and said I didn't need one and would prefer it wrapped, and they were happy to oblige. They took it back and made it up, wrapped it, and sprayed it with water to keep it fresh. Since I'm nearby, I prefer to walk in and describe what I want. I've never been disappointed, and my girlfriend has never missed a smile and positive reaction. Prices range quite a bit, but you can ask for a small bouquet, expertly wrapped for presentation, with or w/o a vase, or better yet, I stop in and tell him "I'd like something with this (pointing) and this in it- can you make it look nice for about $20 ($30, $50, however important the flowers are for a particular meeting). Albert's florist is one of the best florists I've been to (though I've only been to a few). It was a nice change after going to generic grocery store flower stands. Barkev greeted me and got me a couple of perfect long stem roses, dressed them up with foliage and cellophane while I waited. He asked if I wanted a vase which I'm sure would've been nice, but I do not know if it would've been an additional charge. It was very nice when it was done, and only cost $7 which I feel like is a good price for a couple of wrapped roses. They have balloons, cards and stuffed animals as well.
