"I would walk 500 hundred miles and I would walk 500 hundred more." Wow, I think it was almost half a mile to get there. Friendly CSR's made up for it though. Just walk across and take the elevator up then walk down the stairs and across then down thru the tunnel then take the fork in the road. Then once you finish with the paperwork, go up the escalator towards the mountains to get to your actual rental.

There are nice things about having an international airport in a major U.S. City. One of the great…read morethings is that you can fly anywhere around the world within reason right out of your hometown. Also, there are opportunities for you to see very cool Art pieces on your way in and out out of the city. There are a lot of Art pieces displayed through out this airport. I believe that there is new construction because it does look a lot different from pictures that I saw when others visited here. They've done a great job with keeping it fresh clean and culturally relevant. Also, the bathrooms our very updated and new. At least in the terminal we were in near gate five. They have around the clock bathroom attendance, making sure that the supplies are in Check as well as that it is clean. Unfortunately, when we arrived, we rented a vehicle and had a horrible experience. The rental car company will be reviewed separately as it is not a part of the negative experience. The rental car center is about 1/2 mile away from the terminal. THERE IS NO RENTAL CAR SHUTTLE OPERATING. You will need to get your baggage, and then walk all the way to the rental car center in the outside heat. When we arrived, it was about 98 degrees outside and it was absolutely humid and hot. That walk to the rental car center was HORRIBLE. On the way back, after dropping off the rental car, it was 90 degrees. We took the 0.6 mile trek back in to the terminal from the rental car center. It was horrible as well. The highlight of this trip was not only the horrible long walk, but the TSA taking 22 minutes to screen my husband's backpack. The kid was searching forever and ever for some item even though we told him what we thought it was. Anyway, he found it and it was basically an enforcement challenge coin. We feel safer knowing that he's checking everything but the wait was ridiculous. And....WE ARE TSA PRECHECK so it was interesting because we BOTH got flagged to secondary processing. I did have an unopened water bottle in one of my bags, so that was totally on me.

Since it's a small airport, there aren't many amenities--one thing I'd love to see is a drink stand or at least some vending machines. That would make waiting a bit more comfortable. Overall, it's a great little airport with a personal touch. Just bring your own snacks and water!

The airport offers a parking lot with free parking, 2 car rental offices, Hertz and Budget, and easy flights to places like Nashville, TN several times a day. The only issue that I have with the airport is that I sometimes feel information gets lost or confused from the smaller airports than the larger ones I'm used to flying. I am TSA Precheck, yet here at Tupelo they still make you pull almost everything out of you carry one to run through security, and every time i fly out of the airport, when i get home, I always have a piece of paper INSIDE my check bag saying that someone has opened and gone through my luggage. I'm not a fan of that, yet it happens every single time. It often makes me feel like I've done something wrong, even though I fly major airports all of the time and never have issues. At least I get to keep my shoes on still. Aside from the security inconveniences, the airport is really great. They help to make my travel back and forth easier, and I'll take the few inconveniences for that I guess.

I am so glad I did!! Love the Denver Air Connections! Everyone was so nice and getting through was so much easier than going to BNA. Way more affordable than any other airline that is out there! If you love roomy seats and actually real snacks on flight and not the microscopic bag of pretzels that the other airlines give you then fly through Denver Air!! I can't wait to travel with them again and I may even up my trips to Illinois based on this experience alone!

The airport is easy to get to and plenty of parking. They let you keep your car parked there for free. Great deal! The place is very clean and the staff is super friendly. There was no long lines, which is a huge bonus. Nice bathrooms and nearby vending machines. The waiting area has couches and tv's to make your wait comfortable. A few minutes before takeoff they walk you out to the plane and help you on. Smooth flight and super easy. Can't wait to try it again!
