I have celebrated my birthday there for the last two years. The first year was by myself. The service and food both were amazing. The young lady and the manager along with a couple of more servers were very welcoming and helped me have a wonderful birthday. The second time I celebrated with some dear friends. Eric the server was so very friendly and very attentive. Wonderful young man. That night was a delightful experience as well. The food was delicious. Fabulous. Was served hot and plentiful. My aunt is in the hospital in Waycross. The staff were truly lovely and helpful. They gave us complimentary soup for my aunt to tempt her appetite. We ate at the restaurant or ordered takeout several times. Each interaction, various team members asked after my aunt. We were very touched. The reason it's 4 stars is because I am mostly vegetarian with a gluten sensitivity. There's two things I can eat there. read more

Tonight I was eating at this restaurant and talking to a waitress while eating. I began to feel myself stop breathing. I grabbed a glass of water and tried to drink cause I was gagging but the water won't go down. I tried not to get loud but I kept choking and more paper lookin plastic keep coming up. The waitress started saying omg it pieces of the bag the soup comes in. And I started gagging louder and finally I could breathe a little and when I droke water it was going down. My waiter was very upset, apologetic, and scared he ran and got his manager and so did the waitress. The manager came and said "I'm so sorry, would you like another bowl of soup it doesn't have to be that kind because I'll have that one removed " and walked off. So unprofessional his workers cared more than him. I got myself and family together and payed for my bill got off their premises because my kids were worried and confused on what just happened that quick. But that was so horrible how that manager handled me I could have died in that restaurant in front of my kids. Unbelievable!! I'm so upset but I will be calling corporate Monday morning. read more

Stopped on the way to Atlanta to grab a bite.... Super friendly and attentive staff but the food was not good... the soups were not the same quality that I'm used to and the salad greens were not nice and crunchy. I don't expect much from Olive Garden . I just expect it to be the usual affordable place that I love every once in a while when I want a cheap quick meal . However I would have rather spent the extra money in this occasion to have a better quality meal. It's a shame because the staff was super nice and this review reflects the food more than anything. We waited 1 hour for cold food. Waitress slapped plate for salad after asking for a plate. Granddaughter food came out fast but cold she got to eat. We had to take our food home to warm up and eat. For a chain restaurant this was one of our better experiences! We were immediately seated and someone came immediately to our table for our drink order. That turned out to be Angela who was also our server. She was very attentive and friendly! We had salad and breadsticks brought out as soon as our order was placed. I had the eggplant Parmesan with a side of spaghetti. Everything was delicious and came out really quick. Definitely one of the best Olive Gardens we've ever been too! read more

We came for lunch on a Sunday. The food was very good, me having the eggplant parmigiana. My family members had the chicken gnocchi soup and noted that it was a little cold, likely because the bowls were not warmed up prior to. I'll get back to this issue later in the review. The rest of the food was great and the atmosphere and inside/outside theming of the place is pleasant and quite impressive. Our server, Sarah, was very good. She was a little blunt but worked very hard to promptly receive and deliver our orders. She was good to talk to as well. I'm giving a star off because of the soup and my family and I speculate that management was pushing the employees to work a little too hastily. First time in all my life I walked into a restaurant with no one sitting at the bar and I'm told there is a 25 minute wait to sit at the bar. I mean no one sitting there. I travel am over the country and have never been told something like that. Then to too am of that off after about a 15 minute wait an employee came out and told everyone they needed to leave because they would be serving no more people tonight. read more

This is a pretty good Olive Garden. It's newish (as of March, 2013), and as such, was fresh and clean inside. It shares a building with a Red Lobster (sisters within the same parent company), and there is a bridged area with shared restrooms. Our food was pretty consistent with this chain, which is to say pretty good. It arrived hot and was spiced appropriately. However, this chain tends to over-cook its pasta, so the noodles are nearly mush (maybe that's how the folks like it?), and that was the case here. And in my experience, Olive Garden provides a 90% likelihood that I'll sit near a really LOUD table of folks who have never been to a sit-down restaurant before. This Olive Garden delivered on this front as well. But Waycross needed some better restaurant choices, so I'm really glad to see this Olive Garden. read more

Omg I got the Asiago tortellini chicken and it had the best grilled chicken I've ever had in my like 10-10 recommend. The service was impeccable and increasingly nice. We got it food writhing about 10 minutes, which is expected for good food and we're constantly checked on by the staff. Olive Garden is back on my favorites list. And the little fried raviolis are super delicious. read more

I dined at Olive Garden tonight, over an hour before closing. I have always loved Olive Garden and visit its various locations but this one is the one I frequent the most. I am very dissatisfied with the entire experience. I ordered the pick three appetizers, with calamari, the ravioli, and fried mozzarella...they gave me six pieces of calamari and when I questioned the portion size and was told they changed menus and as of tomorrow they'll put out new menus tomorrow to reflect the portion size...but they offered to make me more. I got my salad and breadsticks and the bread was rock hard, so I ask for fresh bread which was also hard. I ordered chicken Alfredo which is one of my usual entres, typically it's delicious this time the chicken was not grilled like they typically have it, it appeared to be boiled? And essentially flavorless. The manager came by and ask if they brought the rest of the calamari, which they still hadn't and I already had my entre. During the entire meal the waitress was talking about my table with the bartender and didn't seem concerned with any of my problems. When she brought the check we ask to split the appetizer between the two check and she claimed they couldn't do that, which isn't true because I eat there so often I know they can. As she walks away to ask someone else she sighed and said "oh my god". I have never been treated so poorly by a business and I will think twice before returning to this particular location. ALSO, the waitress charged my friends card an extra $5 to tip herself. read more

Split a tour of Italy with my girlfriend, and we got very small portions. Hard to believe it was an actual sized tour of Italy being split in two, my piece of chicken parmesan was just a little bigger than a chicken nugget, barely any sauce on anything. Service was slow, food took 20 minutes to get to our table even though we ordered food at the same time as our drinks. This place isn't always like this, so this is out of character. Horrible! 3/5/21 went in for a quick bite - Autumn the Hostess had a super shitty attitude and had the audacity to roll her eyes when asked if the bar was an option for a party of 2 due to the bar being wide open.....we didn't mind waiting the 30 minute wait.....However, due to her overall aura about obviously being unhappy and inconvenienced in her position working for Olive Garden, we refused to give our hard earned money to this establishment. I normally love love love Olive Garden but there was a little problem here. We arrived at 1:00 PM and left at 3:30. We had a five year old with us and she kept asking where her food was. The best answers we came up with were "you will get your food in 2-3 business days", "they had to import it from Spain, honey", and "when Jesus comes back." Set their at the booth For a little over 5 minutes waiting for the server to show up to be asked to move to a table. The past 3 times I have went to Olive Garden, it tasted like a TV dinner. I went to this one with friends and I had the lowest expectations to Olive Garden. I was SOOO impressed with this Olive Garden! It was totally delicious and tasted like it was actually made fresh! My mother and I shared the braised beef and tortellini, and we wanted more. The service was on key, and the salad, breadsticks, and soups were perfectly made. With Olive Garden, it's like playing Russian Roulette. Sometimes, you are presently surprised, and other times, you want to blow your brains out. So ALWAYS look at Yelp before going to an Olive Garden. This is an amazing Olive Garden. I love Olive Garden (and actually worked at an Olive Garden all through college) but this location certainly needs improvement. Our server was extremely overwhelmed and unaware of how to ring up basic food and drink orders. My entree never even arrived, but was still on the bill and the appetizer, bread, soup, etc. all arrived before our drinks. With that said, food quality was okay, the server was nice and expressed he was sorry and trying his best (note: which I still gave him a good tip and feel he was sincere). This is by far the worse OG I have ever been to. I will drive all the way to Jacksonville b4 I ever eat at this one again. My last 3 visits have been horrible. There are no service standards at this OG at all. I spent 70$ on my family the last time, to have Togo boxes tossed onto my table for me to pack up. I absolutely love the shrimp alfredo with chicken gnocchi soup. But they have a lot of different problems with this place. - The "bartender" doesn't even know how to mix drinks. I ordered a margarita and he gave me red whine. - The pasta NEVER has enough sauce (I always have to ask for extra) - I always have to ask for fresh bread because if I don't its rock solid. - If you ask for ice in your drink you don't get it. But when you don't want ice they give it to you. - You have to ask the staff like a thousand times to bring you your drink. As far as restaurants go, you get what you come for. While it isn't a superb fine dining establishment, it isn't meant to be. Olive garden is a resturaunt that attempts to deliver a good dining experience at fair middle class prices. With decent service most of the time its all around pretty good. They also have a wide selection of apps and drinks, which is great for when I'm out with friends. They keep the establishment clean, which is always a plus. On 1/18/15 we when for dinned. My wife had shrimp alfredo, there was plenty and she said it was good but nothing to rave about. I had the lasagna classico and could only eat half of it. It had a bitter taste unlike any lasagna I've ever had. That's saying quite a bit because I'm Italian raise on Italian food.
