The salad dressings are made fresh. The hibiscus vinaigrette is amazing. My teenager daughter and I visit here frequently for meals together after school or before cheerleading. The folks at the counter and in the kitchen are great. They bring food to the table and make sure everything is excellent. Love this place! read more

This is an order at the counter kind of place in a strip mall, but it offers some of the best cuisine you could hope to find in an area that is not overflowing with food for people with special dietary needs; there were plenty of vegan and gluten-free choices. I ordered a bowl which was basically a salad, but declined a protein addition because there seemed to be some good ingredients in there already and I wasn't in great need. My bowl arrived with a mouthwatering aroma, perhaps from the pesto or perhaps from the roasted carrots. There were a variety of delightful ingredients with just a few grains, and it was fresh and tasty. On the pricey side for a bowl with no add-in, but it was big and given the limited alternatives I doubt I could have spent my food dollar any better. When you hear it is a healthy restaurant you start wondering how good can the food really be. Well it can be absolutely delicious and healthy at the same time. I ordered a cup of butternut squash soup and a half of a bruschetta. When it was delivered, it looked a bit small but it was filling and I thought it was a great value. First the soup was so pretty to look at. It was hot, creamy and tasty. The bruschetta had beets, goat cheese, arugula and some honey on grilled bread. Absolutely delicious - my first try of braised beets and it was delicious although it was a little hard to cut. Service was excellent! Even after the food was delivered we were check on which was quite nice. As several have mentioned- you order at the counter and then they bring it to you. They have a couple of bruschettas, several sandwiches which can be converted into a wrap or salad. You can also create your own bowls. I will definitely be returning. Oh and you can buy their soups by the quart- very happy about that. read more

Would actually give 4 1/2 stars as this is a quaint restaurant that provides a very healthy and flavorful option for lunch. I had the Chipotle Chicken wrap with side salad & tomato bisque & my wife had the Superfood salad which was fresh with flavor & great color. My wrap was also flavorful and the tomato bisque was awesome! Side salad is just leaf lettuce with an olive oil based dressing. Beverages available are sweet & unsweetened iced tea, hibiscus lemonade, immune boost drink & water. The teas & lemonade were good and the immune boost beverage was just ok as tasted like a watered down beverage. The process to ordering to serving as well as end of meal cleanup was very good! This place was delicious! It's not a "get waited on" restaurant. It's the kind you "place your order at a counter and they bring the food." Still, the place feels cozy. It's tastefully decorated. Each table has a side with a nice bench with pillows. The food is crazy good. I had the salmon taketos with avocado, greens, and pickled onions. The shells are made with cheddar cheese and mixed with heaven. The salmon was a very nice upgrade from the chicken. If I lived in the area, I'd probably buy from here weekly as I do a similar restaurant back home. 10/10 would recommend read more

I was so thrilled to see this healthy option at St. Simons. Truth is I can't stand beach town food that is all fried. There were so many options at Sea Salt to please my husband, I and our 2 young boys. The Ketosis bowl was enough for me for 2 meals and packed full of freshness. My husband loved the steak wrap and found it was filling by itself. The boys had the 2 veggies player with carrots and avocado plus chips and a juice box and loved it. Such a great light atmosphere and the staff was really helpful with recommendations. They make their own dressing and the hibiscus vinaigrette is DELICIOUS!! They have fresh made smoothies. You can customize your dish any way you like. We found this restaurant online, while searching for healthy gluten-free options near Jekyll Island. It was out of our way from Jekyll, but *so* worth it. The food was amazing, and the quality of the ingredients is the best we've had during our vacation. My salmon was perfectly done, and was wild. I'm hardly ever able to find wild salmon in a restaurant. My husband shared a taste of the steak in his bowl, and it was equally flavorful and perfectly cooked. The greens were fresh and the cooked vegetables were al dente. We shared the hummus appetizer, and the gluten free flat bread was crisp and perfect to go along with the veggies for dipping. My tomato soup went perfectly with my salad, and my husband's (dairy free) chia bowl for dessert was delicious. The mangos on top were sweet, without being mushy. I asked about the oil used in my salad dressing and was told that it was olive, and that they do not cook with seed oils. It's nearly impossible to find a restaurant that avoids seed oils, so this was a huge plus for us. The customer service was excellent, and our food came out quickly. That said, we'd have happily waited longer, especially since we ordered steak. We will definitely be back next time we are in the area! read more

My complaint would be the prices, we paid $44 dollars for two lunch meals, quite pricey in my opinion.
