These guys are awesome…read more We went in today to have our friend take some photos (she works in the studio) for her portfolio, and also for our save the date cards, and we were wowed at how nice everyone was who works here. The photos turned out great, and the staff was clearly having a good time working in the office and watching our photo shoot. The studio is simple and is located in the Arts Building in Concord, and I would definitely recommend this place if people needed portraits or wedding photography; they are just a delight and clearly love their craft. Also, they do a lot of bar/bat mitzvahs, so if anyone has a big party, these guys can handle the photography!

Rita put the three short clips on the same DVD and labeled them nicely, which was really appreciated. She is friendly, does great work, and gets things done quickly. My sisters and I have only one cherished photo of our parents, who are long deceased…read more It shows them just after WWII ended and my Dad, a paratrooper who landed on Omaha Beach on D-Day, recently home from the war, is seated next to his bride, on New Years Eve, They are holding hands at a table, at a party, in Chicago. The year is 1945. This was not an easy thing to turn over ... but the image was cracking and fading and I had to try to salvage it. Roger did an amazing job on this photo. It is restored so that the contrast, crispness and line quality of the image are hugely improved. It's nice to see my parents clearly in all their young, hopeful possibilities. Thank you Roger.

Then I started doing research and ended up buying a OMNI-bounce, my shots were better but still not there. I continued to read and heard about gary-fong, but I was not sold because first it looked ridiculous, and two it was just so over priced! Then I was shooting an event with a friend and he pulled out this giant flash diffuser, and I was like whoa what is that thing? He told me it was the DEMB. I asked to borrow it for that shoot and wow, was I impressed. I was so impressed that as soon as the gig was over, I went straight home and bought myself one. Thank you Joe Demb! And thanks to photo.net users for the recommendation to try your flash bracket…read more I have 2 Nikon D700s. Love them. However, there is a problem using the hotshoe for flash. There is a grounding problem and after awhile they just won't work right. I am a wedding photographer and while I prefer off camera flash, I need it on my camera for fast action during part of the day. One camera went bad and while it was off not getting fixed(Nikon simply reset it and sent it back- messed up immediately-I was awfully discouraged), the other camera showed symptoms, as well. And the problem tends to repeat itself even after repair. Pretty discouraging. I had tried two other flash brackets already to get it off the hotshoe. Granted they were not high end models, but I kept looking at them and they are big and heavy! I am a small person and I hated the way they add weight and bulk, and throw the whole balance of the camera off. I am so tired of buying equipment that I hate and won't use, I just couldn't see spending the amounts on the most expensive, yet highest rated brackets I was seeing to not use them because of their weight. Then some fabulous person recommended the Demb flash bracket. It looks so similar to the ones I had tried, I was a bit skeptical. SO happy!!! The session before I received it was a struggle. WB and exposures all over the place. Makes me feel like I don't know how to run my camera. Frustrating! My bracket came, on it went. I forgot it was even there! I use it with a Rogue Flashbender on my SB900s also, which has a similar effect, but heavier than the bounce products offered by Demb. My camera and I were working together again! I could not be more pleased. The first camera is off getting its hotshoe replaced, not just reset this time. But once it returns, this will go on that immediately so it stays fixed! My only issue is the screw length. I use a hand strap and it was a pain getting the threads to grab because of the extra thickness there. I had to remove the antislip strips. Because of this, I will need to buy one for each camera as switching is not an option. I don't have 20 minutes to fiddle when I need to swap. Maybe they have a longer one, I need to check. I still will likely get one for each camera. Thank you, thank you! You have helped me love my cameras again:)

For my partner's birthday, I hired Danielle to go shopping with her to revamp her professional and casual wardrobe. My partner has literally never enjoyed shopping...until now. Danielle made the process incredibly easy. After an initial phone conversation, she came to our home to discuss options with my partner as well as goals for a shopping trip. She had no qualms about coming to meet us even if we hadn't officially hired her yet, because she wanted to make sure that this was a good fit for all involved. It truly was. When we arrived at the mall for our shopping trip, as promised Danielle had snacks and drinks awaiting us for the shopping adventure. She had pre-selected many pieces at different stores so that my partner could go right into the dressing room without the stress of looking at racks. Immediately, my partner felt comfortable and excited. She said it felt like "all of the best parts of being on 'What Not to Wear' without the total lack of privacy of being on reality TV" (ha!). She found so many items that she never would have tried on, but with the encouragement and great eye of Danielle, my partner was thrilled by her new looks. Best of all, Danielle was incredibly understanding of our limited budgets. She knew what our limits were and never once asked us to go over them. She made the entire process fun (a word that my partner NEVER would have used for clothes shopping) and made it feel like shopping with a long-time friend who just also happens to be a seriously excellent professional.
