They performed as perfectly as possible. Brian took 4 days to install the cabinets in our 1926 house (after 99 years, the floors and walls needed help). I watched and helped a little. Excellent workmanship. Then the Quartz counter top. The crew again did a perfect job. The kitchen turned out better than we hoped. Another good part of working with Robert Ellingsen, owner, is that he has his own workers, no subletting. He also demonstrated real integrity in his words and actions. The whole project got done in under a month. My son and I did the demolition and the new vinyl plank flooring. The proverbial icing on the cake was that he was way less expensive than the others. Even though we paid extra for one of the company's designers. You would think they would have foresight in where electric, lights and such would go. Multiple mistakes. They have misplaced them on each place they put them. The project started over a year ago. It was a garage, a room addition, and later I added a foyer/porch. I only did one change order for that. My joists sat for months growing mold. They were still put in my project, even with my protest. I forced the company owner to visit back in June. He told me he was embarrassed and would take care of me. He did NOT. This was the most expensive mistake I have ever made. The project was overpriced for what I have received. This project is over $150k, you'd think they could at least be nice to me. This should have been a 3 month long project. Some of the subs were good. Some weren't. I have been living in one bedroom during this entire project and haven't had a kitchen since June. My furniture has been in storage. Our social and family life has been on hold. We haven't been able to have our grandchildren here because of living in a construction zone. I wish I could give a better review.

They also accomplished the work exactly within the time frame they described for it. John clearly takes a tremendous amount of pride in providing quality workmanship that achieves the highest standards. In the end, we felt like we had a new space. We have written a complaint with the Better Business Bureau regarding the installation of porcelain…read more24 by 24 tiles. There is lippage all over the floor, the grout line size are different. He complaint was unresolved with the BBB Mr. Marcos Silva never came out to check out the installation since the BBB complaint was filed. We would at least want a representative of Mr. Silva's insurance company check out the lippage. We have been in the house for the past year. We have tolerate the pain of walking on uneven floors and the pain of stepping on the lippage. We have to wear Sox or Slipper to protect the soles of our feet.

Avoid this company. Greyhawk installed a hurricane door at…read moreour condo on Longboat Key & left us with a door that wouldn't lock properly & a visible gap at the top where daylight shines thru. They eventually fixed the locking issue but the gap has been a nightmare to deal with. Ignored emails & phone calls & then finally a service call. They suggested a drinking straw inside the weatherstripping to solve the problem. More emails & calls & eventually another service call to install heavier weatherstripping. They did not use a heavier product, but simply installed the same weatherstripping moving outwards slightly, leaving a bigger gap & more light shining thru. Poor installation, ignored emails, ineffective service visits & still no resolution. If Greyhawk resolves this issue properly I will be happy to update this review.
