This is my second visit to OP. I was able to make reservations just a little over 2 hours in advance. The hostess & wait staff were very pleasant. The Tuesday menu caught my husband and I off just a tad but we were able to select dishes that we were satisfied with. Ambiance was quiet & very intimate just like our first visit. We enjoyed our meal and will likely return again.

Lovely restaurant in downtown Perry. My husband made reservations for us to dine on a Thursday evening. When we walked into this adorable quaint restaurant , we were greeted by an amicable hostess who seated us immediately. The ambiance was upscale and chic. Surprisingly, the place was crowded even though it was a stormy night. Our waitress was personable and attentive. We ordered 2 of the posted drink specials. I had the Dogwood Punch, and my husband had the Peachy Palmer. The drinks were ok, but definitely not the highlight of the night. We shared the Spicy Crab Cake appetizer, which was enough for two. It was decent, I'm a Maryland native so my standards are super high when it comes to crab cakes, but for the area, it was good. I had the Seared Scallops Entrée over risotto and with Brussel Sprouts. My meal was cooked perfectly, and the flavors blended well together. My husband had the salmon over mashed potatoes and green beans, and he also enjoyed his meal. Overall, we had a nice experience. The service was excellent, and the staff was friendly. If you are looking for an upscale restaurant for date night to celebrate an occasion or just to impress your friends, look no further.

Yaw , if you want some delicious southern inspired food - go here! It's real pricy but if you have the funds - gather up your piggy banks to try this place out ! The scallops were delish.! After havin 3 kids , I know a thing or 2 about havin a drink - and the drinks were okay . But not as expensive as they could have been , so that's a plus ! Our surver had long hair and long legs, left-handed too - real new age type of young man - was real nice and attentive ! We will be back !

I've been dying to give this place a try and it didn't disappoint. I'll start with my only complaint. There is no where to wait if you are early, so there was a couple who stood right by our table for 5 minutes waiting on their table. It was a bit awkward. Once they were seated all was well. The fresh bread is absolutely divine. We also had a salad and the crab cake to start. Both were great. The crab cake was huge and plenty big enough to share between 2-4 people. Next up we enjoyed the White Fish and the Lamb Chops along with sautéed green beans, Brussel sprouts, and mashed potatoes. I don't think we left much on our plates. I will say I typically order my steaks and lamb medium rare, but it did come out a bit more rare than I prefer. Our server agreed that it was a bit under cooked, and quickly took it back, returning with a perfect medium-rare color. While we were extremely full, we still splurged and got the crème brûlée which did not disappoint. Our server Matt was highly entertaining and on top of things the whole night. He was knowledgeable and attentive. The owner also stopped by the table and chatted with us for a bit as well. We will definitely be back, and can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

One of our favorites - The food here is amazing! Fresh, Quality upscale food right here in the middle of Perry! We love having a date-night spot or something delicious without having to drive to Macon or Atlanta. They have a small menu, and everything I've tried has been special, delicious. AND they have creme brûlée!! The shrimp and grits are always a favorite! It comes with bacon!! The Ravioli always great and the Pappardelle pasta came with Braised short rib!! Delicious! The specials are good... all though I have yet to try the beef Wellington special I saw them post about. The burger, the steaks are always fantastic! Don't miss out on ordering a side of the carrots! The service is always attentive and fast! Go check it out!

Wonderful food and stellar service. This is our new "go to" spot for date night. It is so nice to find a fine dining spot in downtown Perry.

There are 100 beer taps with a huge variety, one of which was a really tasty IPA. We were taken care of by the two Taylor's, one male, one female, but both were great with which to deal with. Strongly recommend this restaurant.

Definitely thought it was going to have a lot more corn though. And there was also black beans in it. What would make it a 10: more corn, no beans. Santa Fe eggrolls 8/10 "Three crispy egg rolls stuffed with seasoned chicken, sweet corn, melted cheeses, and peppers. Served with our smoky chipotle ranch for dipping." - Good flavor. One of the egg rolls was completely empty. Also nowhere in this description does it say black beans but there was black beans in them- won't order again because of this. What would make it a 10: no beans, and make sure they all have something inside. Grown-Up Dilla 7/10 "A golden grilled flour tortilla stuffed with a blend of jack and cheddar cheeses, fire-roasted jalapeños, roasted corn medley, and tender grilled chicken. Served with your choice of dipping sauce." - got the jalapeños on the side. Lots of cheese. Little chicken. Definitely could have been grilled a little crispier. And again- black beans- gross!! Dipping sauce we chose was the Chipotle ranch- yum, and a none-to-mild spice level! What would make it a 10: more chicken, no beans. Super upset that everything I ordered had black beans in it and NOWHERE in the menu descriptions said that there was black beans in ANYTHING. Had they included it on the menu and I had known each of these dishes had beans- I would have never ordered any of this food and would have picked other menu items without beans in them.

Even though the place was packed--inside and out--we were seated immediately. The restaurant has a modern yet inviting vibe, and the staff matched that energy with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. Our waitress was personable, attentive, and made us feel taken care of the entire evening. The chips and salsa arrived quickly, and let me tell you, that salsa had the perfect kick, spicy enough to keep it interesting, and the chips were super fresh. Both of us went with Texas Margaritas to start, and they were strong, balanced, and delicious. For entrées, I had the shrimp fajitas (sizzling and flavorful, with fresh veggies cooked just right), while my husband enjoyed the shrimp tacos (he said they were some of the best he's had). Everything came out quickly, and considering how busy it was, I was beyond impressed at how well the kitchen and staff kept up. We enjoyed it so much that we came back the very next week. This time I tried the Margarita Flight--something I didn't see on the menu, but I'd spotted photos on Google. I asked about it, and sure enough, they made it happen! The flight came with guava, strawberry, peach, and mango flavors--refreshing, fun, and definitely sharable. Two visits in and I can confidently say Fuego Fresco has secured its spot as my favorite Mexican restaurant in the area. Between the excellent service, flavorful food, and festive atmosphere, this spot is a must-visit. Perry needed this, and I can't wait to come back for round three!
