Attended the wine tasting at the POND today and it was awesome. We tasted several different wines, red and white, and it was only $25. The wines were good and the Sommelier Alan Bass was awesome. I highly recommend coming once it's offered again.

Exquisite. I'm from Indiana. I've not heard of this town, nor any restaurants here. I arrived at the Pond. It has a great layout and a lake view. The staff is inviting. It also has a decent Bourbon collection. I ordered the Salmon meal, not expecting too much because it's not Atlanta, New York, or LA. I got the seasonal vegetables (I hate seasonal vegetables) to be healthy. Let me tell you - the vegetables were delicious. They were lightly marinated, had some smoked grill taste and were perfectly cooked. I could have had that as the entree. I often get seasonal vegetables - and hate them every time. It's for health only. Well here they are delicious and healthy!!! Salmon and mashed (non loaded) potatoes were great. Shout out to staff, chef, and managers. You should go here whether traveling through like me, or even if you live here!!

Wednesday night dinner on friends recommendation. It was very good and exceeds the 3.5 rating. I started with the grapefruit rose, it is good for those that like a sweet rose it was a tad sweet for me. I had a glass of pinot noir after and that was very smooth. I had the lamb chops with a side of cheese grits and broccoli. The pork chops were great, I asked for medium and they were cooked that way. The chops were seasoned nicely and came with a side of mint jelly that gave that savory sweet mix. The cheese grits had a good flavor, the only critique was they could have been a bit thicker and creamier. No complaints on the broccoli. The service was outstanding, our server worked hard and was super pleasant. She had no issue with splitting a check with a party of 8. Good experience.

I'm in town for the week and The Pond was a dinner choice for me and my closest 20 friends. Ha. Despite the large group, the staff was super gracious and took amazing care of us all. I tried the beignets as an appetizer, and they were warm & delicious. I chose the Chicken Parmesan and my co-worker tried the Grown Adult Chicken Fingers. The Chicken Parmesan was surprisingly good. The chicken was seasoned to be mild but the marinara sauce had a kick. Yum! My co-worker loved the hot honey glaze on the chicken tenders and couldn't stop with the rice pilaf. All in all, I don't think you can go wrong here.

I've tried Pond several times since my initial experience and felt they deserved an updated review. My husband and I have only dined at the bar thus far. This restaurant is very popular amongst the locals and visitors. On any given night, there could be a private party in any of the many areas that the restaurant rents out. On their website, there is a link for online ordering, yet I'm not sure if it is functional since online ordering is never available. Warner Robins AFB is only a few miles away, so if there is a conference or an event, sometimes the restaurant will be reservation only. The staff is always friendly and they work as a team to give the best service to their patrons. My drink of choice is always the Kettle One lemon drop martini, and my husband has had the smoked Old Fashioned and their margaritas. I always enjoy the food. My favorite is the Red Snapper with shrimp and brussel sprouts as a side. If you are in the area and want an upscale ambiance, definitely add Pond to your list.

Chocolate smeared on the table from the night prior. Tables were not cleaned.

We chose The Pond to celebrate our 10th anniversary (which was clearly noted in our reservation) with our kids, based on all the amazing reviews--especially about the staff like Kelly, TJ, and Katlyn. Unfortunately, our experience did not match what others raved about. Our server, Noah, was quiet, sultry, and sullen throughout the evening. It felt like he wanted nothing to do with being at work. I made several attempts to engage with him, but was shrugged off with awkward chuckles and minimal responses. Even when I asked for a recommendation between two dishes, the only input he gave was "you get more" with one of them--not exactly the kind of thoughtful service I was hoping for at this price point. To make matters worse, our table (picture attached) was dirty when we were seated. There was chocolate smeared on one side, as if it hadn't been cleaned from the night before. For what was supposed to be a milestone celebration, this was a huge disappointment. The food itself was decent but not extraordinary--certainly not what I'd expect for a $150 evening out. And while we could hear Kelly and Katlyn nearby absolutely lighting up the room for their guests, our own experience felt more like an upscale fast food stop than fine dining. We were really excited to finally try The Pond after searching for a true fine dining experience in Warner Robins, but unfortunately this wasn't it. I feel cheated out of what should have been a special memory for our 10th anniversary.

We came here for my birthday a couple of years back and thoroughly enjoyed it. Visited again today and loved sitting outside enjoying the view of the lake! Lighting was good, our waitress was wonderful and I had the glazed salmon. It was delicious. I hope this Family owned restaurant does well and stays in our area!

We made a reservation & asked to be seated outside based on the photos of the beautiful photos online. Upon arrival we were seated in the bar area. And told the outside was booked for a party, that was disappointing because the view was a major part in our booking. The bar area was underwhelming. I will say the drinks & the loaded potato & steak soup were very good. I didn't care for my catfish dinner.

We dined here over the weekend, Sunday afternoon. It was my first visit & I will definitely return. The atmosphere is very nice. I would not call it fine dining but I also would not dine here wearing sweatpants or athleisure/gym attire. It is a great spot for date night. The view is beautiful & the ambience is great. The restaurant is good for families & looks like it could also accommodate a large party. Parking is plentiful & free (always a pleasure). Our server, Kristen J, was very polite & insightful. We really appreciated her advice on menu items. Thanks, Kristen J! Now to the food... one of the main reasons people read restaurant reviews. Our table ordered the oxtails (the special for the day), lamb chops, & spicy cajun pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The oxtails were HUGE!!! & from what I sampled, delicious! For $28, that was a great deal! They came with a side of mashed potatoes & 2 biscuits. My family member also ordered a side of collard greens and macaroni and cheese. They said the macaroni & cheese was good. The greens, not so much. The spicy cajun pasta looked good & my family member enjoyed them. The lamb chops were seasoned wonderfully. They were almost tender enough to cut with a butter knife, because they do not provide a steak knife (I'm sure you can get one if you ask), and I made do. You get 4 nice sized lollipop chops for $51 (with 2 signature sides). The only issue was the temperature. I asked for them to be cooked medium rare & only one came out that way. The other 3 were medium well. I didn't want to send them back because I was hungry & had already started in on them but I did mention it to our server, Kristen J. For $51, they should all have been cooked to order! I have no issue paying top dollar for great food but I think they were overpriced, even though they had a good taste to them. Overall, I would return but I will not be ordering the lamb chops again. Maybe the oxtails, if they are still on the menu.

Nice place if you like bland food this is the place for you. I don't think seasonings make it in the building. Bring your grandma or grandpa here they won't have to worry about their blood pressure. Food is tasteless. The beignets are good that's about it.

Driving North from Florida, we wanted dinner and preferred not fast food, but good food served efficiently. Well we hit that out of the park by ending up at The Oil Lamp. My friend had the chicken & mashed potatoes (these are the real deal!!). I had the beef tips on gravy over mashed potatoes. We shared sides of braised cabbage that had a fair amount of garlic - I will be thinking about it, yes thinking about cabbage - first time for everything. We also shared creamed corn and this is NOT from a can. The corn was so sweet and there was a crunch to it, which only fresh corn can give. Everything looked delicious. I eyed those desserts, but I'd finished my plate and just no more room. I live like 4 hours away, but I'm hoping to time my return trip to return to this gem. We ordered the rib-eye meal which comes with a side and bread but you can add whatever you want! I think it was $29, which at first seemed a little expensive, but my brother and friends assured me was definitely worth it! We also grabbed a drink and some dessert. All of the employees were very kind and welcoming. We went right at 5 on a Thursday evening so there was plenty of seating. The tables were big and there was room for all 10 of us (that's why we went early!) The food...was amazing! The steak was PERFECT. I asked for it medium and it was medium. So tender and flavorful! My brother wasn't lying when he said it was worth it. I also had the loaded mashed potatoes - excellent, biscuit-yummy, and the chocolate peanut butter pie- OH MY! I will definitely be returning to this establishment. We really enjoyed it.

It was a nice day so the temperature was wonderful and they even had dog bowls of water sitting out. The patio had TVs but we're not into football and just found something to watch on our phone. The waiter was phenomenal and very attentive but not overbearing. He made suggestions about the drink menu and was considerate to the fact that I drink virgin drinks only. The patio was relatively enclosed with screens to keep flies away. Regarding the food, it's an easy menu with not too many options. This keeps ticket times down and food comes out quick and hot. There are TVs around for those who want to watch the games and drink beer, so I can say I'm most likely not the crowd this place is trying to draw. There are other places to chill with friends that have better food imo. Oh, and the ranch is watery. The chipotle ranch too. Choose a different dipping sauce unless they've changed it since I've last been. I know it's my bad for choosing boneless wings, but if Korean fried chicken places can keep them juicy, so can every other establishment. The ones here are dry.
