We were told by our neighbor that is a contractor to go look for new rugs at Ollie's. So we took a ride to the Deptford NJ location and looked around bought a couple things. The cashier signed us up for their discount card and said our next purchase we would get 15% off. So on our next trip back. The young man John took the time to help us find what we wanted and got us taken care of. Unfortunately I thought the discount was automatic and it wasn't. So we had went up the 3 days later because they were supposed to get a truck of rugs. So on that trip we bought back the receipt and they were able to give us the 15% off. So it wasn't a total waste of a trip. Because the truck didn't come till Friday. So we went up on Friday and John was so amazing and patient with us. I had lots of questions and John never once made me feel like I was a bother to him. This is the best customer service I have ever had. I would absolutely recommend if you need flooring. That you go see John in the Deptford NJ location. We most definitely will. The only negative thing is your discount takes a while to go into your email. So you may have to bring your receipt back to get the discount. read more

Gorgeous, well-stocked Ollie's in an equally beautiful location, just minutes from the Deptford Mall. What a night tonight was, and Ollie's saved my butt. I love Ollie's. It's my favorite store. I go at least once or twice a month. I would go more often, but I know I'm going to spend a lot more money than I want to. I have been to the ones in Hamilton (NJ), Bristol (PA), and Horsham (PA). I will probably not find myself back at this location in a long time, if ever, but I had to leave a review! So, for the past week I have been eyeing an Excalibur food dehydrator in the Ollie's weekly ad. Ollie's pricing was $80 for a brand new one. After checking on Amazon, Sears, and other websites, the same product was ranging from about $190 to $300. That makes $80 an EXCELLENT deal for this product that is brand new and not refurbished. But, I stupidly waited it out the entire week. I even went to the Ollie's in Bristol, PA a few days ago and saw one, but still wanted to think about it. Fast forward to today when I really can't stop thinking about this dang machine. It's got amazing reviews online and after scouring the internet for recipes all day, I found that I could make homemade beef jerky, fruit leather, apple chips, and even garlic powder using this thing. I decided to jump in my car and go get the dehydrator that I saw at Bristol Ollie's. Only it wasn't there when I got there. They were sold out. Silly me. I should've known a good deal when I saw one. I was desperate to get one at this point so I called all of the Ollie's locations around me, starting from closest to furthest. The third or fourth Ollie's I called was this store and they told me they had one dehydrator left! Only, Deptford was 31 miles away and it would take me 37 minutes to drive there. It was already 8:10 PM... Ollie's closes at 9:00 PM! Time was ticking. I hopped in my car and took off like I was on a racetrack. Swerving in and out of lanes (using my turn signals, of course). What a beautiful highway drive it was, though. It was hard not to be distracted by the pretty billboards, the stunning bridge I was crossing, and the bright city lights from what appeared to be the surrounding Philadelphia area. I finally made it to Ollie's just a few minutes before they closed. I sighed in relief as I grabbed the last Excalibur dehydrator off the shelf. Lucky me, getting the last one in a 40+ mile radius. In the few short minutes that I decided to walk around after I got my dehydrator, I saw how well-stocked this Ollie's is. I picked up a few more items that were out of stock at my local Ollie's - multivitamins, a dog toy, and some everything bagel seasoning, which I've been seeing all over the internet. I should also mention that the employees here were very sweet people. Even the girl who answered the phone when I first called to ask if they had the item in stock before I drove here was as nice as could be. She checked me out tonight, too, and maintained the same pleasant attitude when I pulled out my 20% off Ollie's coupon and got the dehydrator for just $64. She remembered my voice from our phone conversation. It says on my receipt that her name is Lourdes. I only wish that I had reason to come back to this Ollie's more often. I loved my visit. If it wasn't after 9:00 PM when I left, I'd have taken the time to explore some of the restaurants in the area. Thanks, Ollie's, for being an excellent store with incredible deals. I can't wait to use my new dehydrator! But that will have to be later this week because I'm pooped from tonight's series of events. Haha! read more

Is it a bargain? Yeah probably. Is it a crapshoot as well? Mos def. But if you sign up for their emailing list, you get a heads up when they get new stock. This is pretty handy & unusual for this type of store. So an extra star for that. This place seems to keep certain things in stock like bedding, small appliances & random car/hardware items at a good price. Then they buy up odd lots on stuff like K Cups, fishing poles, seasonal items etc. So you can definitely get some deals, but it can be a bit random. I wouldn't go out of my way to shop here unless I saw something in the email I liked. Yet a good stop to make if you are in the area for sure. read more

There's always something in here you'll find and be super excited about. Example- I just bought 'The Spicy Paleo Cookbook' which is turning out to be a pretty awesome book, for 3 bucks. Also, if you need a super cheap pair of boots, they have some here! Sure, it's not a perfect fit, nor a lot of support on the bottom, but I just needed quick boots to slip on to walk the dog around our place and I'm happy with them. Tons of kids toys and books for everyone. There's some small appliances to pots for outdoors and bed sheets or pillows, too. I shy away from any food products here so I have no review or comment on that section. read more

I've been here twice. The day of the grand opening, where it was too crowded to move or see anything. We skipped a lot of skinny aisles simply because they were traffic jammed with shopping carts. Then just the other day where it was more relaxed and we were actually able to shop. It's a pretty big store with almost everything under the sun. Kinda like a Big Lots on steroids. A good place to do some holiday shopping. Got a Magellan GPS for 49.99, resusable k-cups 3 in a pack for 5.99, and some heavy duty socks. My wife bought a 20 dollar Red Devil vacuum cleaner, a cookbook, a bag of wheat pasta, and some spices. Everyone we have encountered working here has been nice and helpful so far, with the exception of the manager who was out of her mind. Watched her rip one of the cashiers a new one for some stupid reason. I just find it unnecessary for a manager to treat an employee so badly in front of customers, especially since the store just opened. Apparently someone needs a hug. Oh they also have a frequent buyers club called Ollie's Army. At 250 dollars in purchases they mail you a discount certificate, not sure how much it is for, but I am working towards it. Will probably come back again before the end of the year if it isn't too crowded. read more

Ollie's has a lot of decent stuff for cheap! I purchased a bunch of hangers and candles here when I was moving and saved some money. I will say though that you shouldn't come in here expecting everything to be neat and organized, they do have sections for groceries/household items/etc but the shelves are a bit crowded. And I should also mention that the aisles are really small! Another thing that I feel the need to add is that they have signs everywhere about how American they are, which is super weird to me? I don't see how that's a relevant thing to advertise but okay. read more

KATIE at this location offers excellent, unmatched customer service! Very grateful I happened to speak with her! I popped into Ollie's after a quick (unsuccessful) visit at the Dollar Tree in my quest to find some affordable centerpiece ideas. I quickly located some reasonably priced artificial flowers-- $1.99 a pop! I approached the cashier (Katie) to inquire about whether they had more flowers in my desired color and where I might find some vases. She quickly reached out to another employee to ask about the vases and then requested back up so she could look for more flowers. Katie proceeded to find a ladder, climb to the top of it, and open about 6-7 large boxes that were stored on the top shelf in one of the aisles looking for the flowers I wanted. She then brought me back to the original display and double checked that there were no additional flowers hidden from view. She proceeded to offer some advice on centerpiece options and even directed me to a local place that might have more flowers in my desired color. I bought every flower they had in the color I wanted. Upon check-out, Katie enrolled me in Ollie's army and I agreed to donate to the Ripken Foundation. She very thoughtfully and sweetly filled out my donation card as "Future Mrs." Before I left the store, she wrote out the information of the place where I might find more flowers to ensure I wouldn't forget the name. Overall, Katie was fabulous! That woman deserves a raise for going above and beyond! Katie exemplifies an outstanding customer service representative. She is an incredible asset to Ollie's. read more

I can find better items and cheaper elsewhere; and it's very difficult to find as I have a 30 minute drive to the closest location to me.

I came here back in January 2015. This store reminds me of Big Lots in a way. So many goods things in this store with good prices. Inside the store is pretty big. You gotta look around to get the best prices. read more

I was actually extremely pleasantly surprised with this location. The actual shopping center that it is in is very secluded and kind of crappy. There all the way in the very corner. There is plenty of parking. I was sent here to pick up a toy that was in the ad for really great price. I was doing so begrudgingly but when I arrived I was pleasantly surprised. There were so many great deals and I was hard pressed to not spend quite a bit of money. It was a lot of fun to go through all the aisles to see all the amazing prices and cool crap they have. At first I thought that I was not going to find the toy that I was looking for but then I realized they were up at the very front of the store. I grabbed one and went to check out. This is where this location really shines. The people that work there are extremely friendly and talkative. They're more than willing to help you with your purchases and been nothing but helpful and kind. I will absolutely return, especially to this location because I think that the staff is something special. read more
