This place is in dire need of a renovation and some TLC. Let's not pretend that Red Barn as a chain isn't well known as a place where people go to have to have anonymous sex. For a business that is owned by the Doc Johnson brand of adult toy manufacturer, this location, along with the Berlin store is seedy and has a reputation as such. In an era where sex isn't something to be hidden and ashamed of, this place reeks of shame and secrets. When stores can be brightly lit and accessable to couples and single customers alike and the competition with an online marketplace where you can get anything virtually overnight through Amazon, this place is still firmly planted in the mid 90s. The booth area is just that; an area to cruise with video booths. The theater is dark, like most of these places, and with competition closing in, losing popularity. It's a shame that an adult entertainment center owned by a sex toy manufacturer has such a small selection, but most people who come here aren't looking for toys. This place needs a desperate face lift and change in business practices if it wants to survive in an area where the competition has brightly lit, well stocked show rooms with quality products with a large election and couple friendly atmosphere. Red Barn Books in Gloucester . This is one of 4 Red Barn Locations spread out across NJ this location is pretty nice it's located on RT 168 and Is open until 4am and reopens at 6am this place has a decent amount to offer. Are you looking to shop they have you covered. If you looking private viewing booths they got that it's separate from the theater and you pay the booth to get it to play. You can go to the theater which costs money to enter you pay the clerk. The clerk is a kinda particular guy so just be aware and expect that. He doesn't allow gum chewing and will throw you out for it. He doesn't like hoods so take it down. This location is fairly nice and has a lot to offer. I've been to a few bookstores. Some are better then others. There are some that are really bad and this place in glouster city, is abysmally the worst and most disgusting that has one of the worst people I have ever encountered. His rude and angry behavior prompted me to show you what to avoid. My gf and I were looking to have some fun. We were driving past so we pulled in. We went back to the booths and started looking for one. Each had something on the floor. So we pulled out our cell phones first lights. And our light exposed so much filth.
