I normally shop at an Ollie's in Taylor.. First time at this location and find it to be very disheveled. Not organized and difficult to find things. It needs help. Would not shop here again.

    Rather masculine mermaid.

What an interesting store with so many different items - from food items to clothing and even home items such as towels, bed sheets, ceramic pots for plants and more! The store was huge, almost a warehouse-size, so there was a lot of stuff to check out. Definitely recommend this even if you just want to check it out for fun. I ended up getting so socks and cookies... a weird pairing, I know.

    My finds !!!

This place is odd . It is a bit run down, but if you like bargain hunting its worth a visit. They are short staffed like most retail stores . I found a face cream I usually pay $40 for at $10 and they have cheap snacks and cleaning supplies. This is a good place for holiday/ patio decorations and toys . They carry some clothing from Target , ( Cat and Jack brand) and Universal thread brand too . Just like TJ Maxx, you get whatever they have in stock. Slow service , but cashier was friendly !! Some seedy people ( maybe they were under the influence of drugs) were shopping here, so I was a bit uncomfortable, but still will give it another try .

$10 Michigan tube. Also got a nice MSU tube not pictured.

I will first say that this is not a place you go to get name brand items. Very similar to Big Lots, if you need a non-essential item, come here first to see if you can get a good deal. For example, today I got a kids sled and (2) nice blow-up tubes for a total of $26. Easily would have been pushing $40 at a Walmart or Meijer. Previously I got plastic clips to hang my outside Christmas lights for $2. So again, rating the store for what it is, not comparing to big box stores because that's not who they are, it's an easy 4 stars. I'll be back. Oh... And I forgot to mention, the tubes were a Michigan and a Michigan State tube. For $10 I'm all over that. Same exact tubes are $29.99 each at Kohls!

When I have a 3 year old with me, this is always my first stop. Their children's section is MASSIVE And adorable. There are padded benches for you to sit on while your children browse. When it's your time to look, they have a table with coloring pages and toys to keep your children entertained too! One of my favorite things is that they hide a plushie of Where's Waldo, and when your child finds it they get to pick a prize from the box. They also have a basket of stickers for you to choose one to take with you. For the adults there is also a high top table with chairs where you can sit and color or do whatever activity they have laid out. Their bathrooms are always clean, and easy to access. They offer used books for all ages, and they also have Blind Date with a Book for you to buy. During certain times they have also offered cutouts for you to write down your favorite book and post it on their window. Their staff is always pleasant and helpful. I also love their rewards program! It's super simple to sign up and even though I do not buy a ton of high priced books I have already benefitted from the rewards. It's definitely a must visit bookstore!

Areas are spaced out and labeled; used books, a puzzle working space, a kid area and free coffee are all important parts of this lovely book store.

I thought this was a really good bookstore! It had a good selection. I actually ordered my books…read moreonline the night before for instore pickup. They had them ready and waiting for me the following afternoon. Store is clean and well organized. And the employee at the front desk was very friendly - seemed very nice when checking out the couple in front of me and when some people walked into the store after me. I'll definitely go back. And the online ordering/pickup system was so easy. Plus there are multiple small stores to stop in that shopping center - TJ maxx, hallmark, better health, an ACE hardware - so then I can pop in multiple spots!

Books. Books. Books…read more I'm slowly getting my momentum back when it comes to reading, and it was time I put a dent into my wishlist. I came here the other day specifically for Pete Souza's new book, which is hysterical and amusing after only three pages. I would've saved around 10 bucks had I ordered online, but I couldn't wait 3-5 days. The employees don't seem too high strung, and seem very eager to help you out, which is great because it can be annoying when it's obviously that you need help, yet staff just walks by you. When I initially entered the store the first thing to catch my eye was a mug. I end up picking it up, only to add to the 40+ mugs I already have and don't really need. In addition to mugs they're tons of gadgets, cards, keychains, ect... This store almost feels like a an outlet Barnes and Nobles meets Borders. Plan on return to do some Christmas shopping for friends/family who also loves books.
