When the manager Shannon arrived she callously informed me that most of my items were clearance and she could not make an exception to hold them. I'm not sure the relevance in how many clearance items I had, but I am sure that there was a major lack in customer service. I will return however I recommend a secret shopper to speak with Ms Shannon with the d3ad eyes to see the lack of warmth for themselves.

As a craft store, it was a larger, cleaner, more people walking around, Michaels. Nothing jumped out at me, they were just another craft store... with no RC stuff. Social issues and positions will probably keep me going to Michaels, but if you have no feelings about that stuff, and they are nearby, give them a try.

I feel this is a mix of Five Below and Dollar Tree. They have some pretty spectacular items under one roof. Some items that you would find in major national big box chains, but at a much cheaper price. I went up and down just about every aisle, but I kind of stuck close to toys and craft sections in this store. Once I selected the items I thought would fulfill my needs I made my way to the register area. I think I was confused a bit when it came to this. It looks like a customer service desk, a deserted one. In fact, I don't remember seeing a single employee in here, ever. With that, this is basically a self service store and you have to scan yourself out. Which isn't always bad.

I wandered through the store, browsing as I went. I didn't see anything worth noting or getting. The layout of the store was familiar to competitors. The departments are defined and easy to find/navigate. Pricing seems to be about the same as competitors. Selection, at least to me, appears to be limited. I really did not see much that caught my eye. Before long, I found myself back to the mall entrance and out of the store.
