The stock is usually well stocked and is updated often. Shelves are usually neat and aisles are clear. You can find great deals during off seasons. For example, you can find great deals on grills and outdoor chairs during the colder months. Employees are always friendly. Prices are amazingly cheap. Come with a budget because you can easily fill up your cart with great finds lol! It has been years since visiting Ollies. I use to find great buys, but our last visit disappointed. Things inside seemed more scattered out and prices were higher. It may be one of those down times when we visited, so maybe closer to Christmas they will have more to choose from. Parking is still a nightmare here and I had to search for a shopping cart in the patking lot. read more

I've been to a few Ollie's locations before, and I am aware that they aren't the most well organized store, but this one takes the cake. First, it is oddly shaped and makes for a weird layout. I don't know how to explain this clearly, but it's the corner portion of the building and just weird. Walking in and out of here I was hassled to buy candy bars. It's not all that bad of a thing, but the vestibule for this store is very cluttered and that was a bit much. I honestly did not pay it much mind as I was on a mission and knew that I wanted to get in and out right quick. It took me a moment to figure out the layout of this store, but I was able to figure it out after one or two times down the wrong aisle. I was in search of dishwasher tabs and I figured they would have something. And they did, at a much cheaper price than any other nearby location. I did end up grabbing a few other things that I saw in passing. What screwed me up a lot here was the register line. It was like someone was playing a video game and made it difficult to make it to the end. If I remember correctly, there were either four or five register, but you had to figure out where the line was and then traverse the whole thing to make it to the actual register. But before you did that, you waiting just about halfway across the store before being hollered at to come to the register. read more

Today was my first visit to this location. I really like Ollie's from time to time. I occasionally look through the circulars, and every now and then I will see a number of items that I need. This week's circular was one of those times. The store is a typical OBO with a moderate level of disorganization. With that said, it is a closeout store, so one would expect some level of clutter. Some of the circular items that I wanted were not available, but I found most and some extras as well. Since this is Howard County, you must pay for your bags, purchase one of their reusables or maybe even bring your own, if allowed. The cashier was helpful. It was a good visit. read more

I've been 3 times now and each time I've gone the check out time has been twice the total time shopping. Nice place. A lot of stuff kinda all over the place. From toys to kitchen stuff and food to gardening to (cheapy) tools to books to furniture and carpeting. You never know what you're going to find; it's a surprise every visit. I've been here many times and almost always find a good impulse purchase because the price is just too good to resist. The staff is quite nice and helpful. If you're in the area I definitely recommend stopping by. read more

Great place to find deeply discounted items such as books, garden, clothing, toys, small appliances, foodstuffs, on and an on at decent prices. It is a store where they warehouse overstock and brand name store purge items they do not want to mark down further and sell the lot to these resale companies such as Ollie's. With that said there are caveats. The toys, appliances, rugs, house decor and kitchen items were the same prices as your local big retailer. So you have to watch some prices which are the same and surprisingly higher. This last visit was a bust due to the fact that we were in line for 39 minutes and had not moved ONE INCH because they only had one cashier and the person purchasing had problems with the pricing. I dumped my items and left, it was too long to wait until we got our turn. I will return another day. Take the chance to find them again. read more

What a surprise! I haven't been here in quite a while and it was nice to see how well a warehouse of a store was clean and neat. The staff was helpful when I found what I needed and was just looking around. It was pleasant to see the other shoppers taking their time to just look around when their baskets were already full of items. read more

Ollie's Bargain Outlet is like Walmart but a *discount* Walmart. Maybe even a bit flea market going on here. The store is organized by section but the merchandise seems random and unplanned. Prices are up and down and all around. Ollie's is best experienced without a shopping list. Just keep in mind the things that might be nice and maybe you'd like to see and then you may be surprised to find it here at Ollie's. Patio furniture. Car floor mats. Mattresses. Board games. Coffee table books. And coffee tables. It's just so.. everything. The aisles are random and not parallel. It's a confusing shopping experience. But hey, it's a bargain and it's an outlet. And you will certainly find things here that you're probably not going to find elsewhere. read more

This is one of my favorite stores to visit. Ollie's has items at bargain prices usually the result of merchandise buyouts. Their inventory changes often, so don't expect to go there one week see something and don't get it because it may not be there when you come back. They sell a wide variety of items: home, automotive, pantry foods, pet, beauty, books and the like. The wonderful thing about Ollie's is that you never know what goodies you will find there each time you visit, so l often look forward to scouring the aisles looking for treasures at discount prices. The checkout lines can be a bit much at times, but overall given the bargains l have gotten, it is worth it. Make sure to sign up for Ollie's membership program. This location is off Route 1 and Route175. They have some really good bargains especially in the garden section. If you need decorative pots they are about half the price of Home Depot or Lowes. I don't usually buy books but the instructional ones are great. read more

Traveled to this location to check out their book section. I'm on the hunt for some specific books and I was surprised at the area they have set out for books of all categories. The books were nicely displayed and divided up into different genres. The teen selection was very small. The children & cooking/food book section was large. I ended up get a few books but didn't look around at the other parts of the store because the line to check out was increasingly getting longer and longer. They had two cashiers but it seemed like they we running into issues with pricing of items or something else. I waited a long time to check out. read more

As I am from Texas we don't have Ollies in my area so I didn't know what to expect, but I found the book section to be way beyond my expectations. So many Christian based books. I found several for my granddaughter who is 2 and learning the stories of the bible. I was shocked at how many books there are. As for the rest of the store, it had a little of everything and the prices were decent. The layout of where things were was a little chaotic, but that's ok, I had fun browsing this store! read more

I've been to the Glen Burnie location but the other day was my first time going to the Jessup location. I found a couple of great items. I have always loved Ollie's because of the savings. This location wasn't much different. My only issue and reason for knocking off one star is because several male employees kept cat calling and commenting on my outfit. I came right after the gym. I wore leggings and a tank top. No one should be treated that way when they visit a place of business. They are in dire need of sensitivity training - but let's face it, they'll sleep through it and completely disregard it. read more

The aisles are crowded but there are lots of things to look at. The book selection is large. The toiletry items are limited. The cooking items are varied. There were several rows of foods and spices. I like the Lynchburg Ollie's better. That store has less rugs but more interesting inventory. It also feels less cramped. The cashiers are also more outgoing in Lynchburg. read more

When you check in, Yelp asks you if you see something. Well how about I see too much. Ollie's is so overwhelming. The hubs had never been to an Ollie's before so I agreed to check it out. I told him, before we go in here, I want you to name something you think you won't see in here. With his suspicion in his eyes he said, what kind of store is this? I just chuckled. He was completely outdone by the number of people and stuff in the store. If you need it, they got it. From rugs to books to small appliances to toiletries. This is probably one of the neater locations. Not that it's exceptionally neat. Update: we bought a toaster. I opened up and saw crumbs and excessive finger prints. I'm disgusted. read more

I spent $695.00 here the day after New Years. I purchased two area rugs. They had to be out on the roof of my car and when I asked the guy for string to tie them down, he said they didn't have any. I asked if he could go back in and look forward something and he said I could go back in and buy some bungie cords. I'm a 57 year old woman, with an obvious limp due to pain in my feet and leg. I was forced to pull down both rugs from the roof of my car and put them inside my vehicle with the windows rolled down in order for them to fit. It was 35 degrees out. Be sure to check expiration dates as many food items will be 'out of season', but come back regularly if you're buying seasonal or household items for great deals. OMG! Why didn't anyone tell me about this place sooner?! It's amazing! They have a HUGE selection on books for adult, young adult and children! The books are marked down a huge discount, and they are brand new for those that are anti-used and been around the block books. They have a huge variety of things such as patio furniture, random things for the household and even Nutrisystem diet food which is already expensive to begin with. On top of the huge discounts, they offer additional discounts on items which I think is fantastic. I'm a huge fan, they have so much crap you will want to buy whether you need it or not! read more

So not everything is a bargain & it's kind of a mess. If you have some time u could probably find some deals. My mom thought it was amazing though. I don't know. I'd rather sift thru piles of things @ TJ MAXX or Ross, or something. They have a frequent shopper program that earns you points & gets you discounts. They seem to be great for seasonal merchandise. The parking lot is great and they have bigger shopping carts. If you have some time to kill and you're a bargain shopper with no specific needs, this might be a really fun place. read more

Ollies has been a part of my life since I was a child. I remember roaming up and down the aisles running my hand along the towels while my dad shopped for bargains. In fact it's where I got my square of carpet for my dorm freshman year of college. So I was very happy when an Ollies opened up in HoCo several years ago, especially since the one in Brooklyn Park closed. It seems larger and better taken care of than the Jumpers Hole location. Some of the products have the same prices as anywhere else, but that's why they call it bargain hunting. I've gotten some good deals on books, photo albums, and planting/outdoorsy stuff. If your kid is moving into his or her first place, Ollies is a good place to get them set up with some essentials. read more
