They're definitely overpriced and I've never seen such a scattered mess in my life in a department store, layout.... usually most of what is there is what people are bagging up and dropping off at the dumpster there in the parking lot I'm very disappointed that they've gone so commercial...It does seem like they're cherry picking anything that's worth anything at all and leaving what you would probably find at the Salvation Army ....one step down from Goodwill. Definitely not a place where people would go to get great deals or find cool clothes or just what you wanted for the house, but didn't want to spend money on. NO NO NO Not that way anymore. Now I go in with a list I walk around try to find those things I want. Ask the girls where those things might be now and just like the department store. Things are sometimes even in two or three different places at once ....so like everything else, red, white and blue is becoming so commercial that it's not unique anymore.... it's blah blah, blah, and more blah.

We all know Manwich tomato sauce in the can but have you ever heard of BBQ Bourbon flavor?? Well they have it in Mexico and it has made its way to Trenton. The woman said "What I'm I to do with this?" I said "Excuse me?" she went on to say that the garment smelled of smoke and asked if the gifter smokes. I said "no" and smelled the piece of crap and then had my wife smell the piece of crap.... no smell whatsoever. We said "we don't smell anything". She then said that the store tag was missing and questioned whether we purchased it there. I said "it still has a four inch manufacturer's tag hanging from it and you can't identify this garment as something you sell here?" She replied "I have seen it at other places and we can't have a return policy like Macy's". I said "we have the bag with your stores name on it and the $60 receipt right there on the counter". She said hesitantly "well I guess I could try to air it out". Conclusion- post this and forget about it !!! My Dachshund now loves it - the smell of crap and smoke doesn't bother her. I have only shopped at this store a few times in the last year or so as the hours (11 am - 6 pm) at that time were not the most convenient. Have never seen anyone else in the store. The second experience was such a turn off that I would not recommend this shop to anyone. I was not made aware of their return policy until after I made a purchase. The policy is not prominently displayed in store (see photo) and so it was only visible once I opened the link in the text message of the receipt. Items have to be returned within 10 days and even then are only eligible for a store credit. Never experienced any store having such an unreasonable and inflexible return policies. I returned several items within the required time frame totaling around $68, and asked the store to make an exception to get my money back and not a store credit as I was not made aware of the return policy until after I bought the items. The clerk said the machine is not set up to do that. I asked her again to make an exception and she says she had to contact .the owner, to which I said fine. They were on the phone for several minutes as the owner had to know the items returned, which seemed weird as why should that matter? The owner refused to refund my money, so now I have a gift card for a store I don't wish to shop in because of they way they treat their customers. But they had their goods back in a timely manner that they can resell. Seems fair, right? I initiated a credit card dispute ruth my credit card company which I am waiting to be resolved. Such a waste of time.

When I needed to get a gift for my girlfriend, the owner made a special trip to New York to find exactly what I needed. I was shocked to hear that anybody customer was so disappointed, but I guess maybe the voicemail she deleted without listening might have changed her mind.
