First time to this location . I was in Princeton and visited this store . Nice location and very close to other places of interest . Lots and lots of parking available . This location looked good and well managed . Lots of products in display .. Lots of made in India items and they are looking good. got few stuff for my house and the decors are good . quality of products are good . Service can be better and billing can be faster . I'm not a fan of shopping in general unless it's for food. I can easily put off buying things I need or that would make my home more comfy almost indefinitely when faced with the prospect of having to walk around stores like this. (TJ max, Home sense, Marshall's etc) I came here twice recently because they were one of the few places that carried wine racks. There are several sources online, and most big box stores like Lowe's and HD carry them, but ONLY online. Someone who does frequent places like this alerted me to their existence so I made the effort to look. When I finally found them I was surprised that the size of one was almost perfect, as was the amount of bottles it could hold. In my mind I was picturing all wood, so I decided to look at a sister store, Home Sense, to see if they had others. They had an all wood version that was larger but held fewer bottles. I came back the next day with a shopping cart and purchased the floor model. Here's where I find fault with places like this, surely this item came packaged in a box? Why not keep a few in the boxes so they don't get damaged? There were scuffs on one side, and the distressed wood top had a slight flaw too. And I'm sure as the furniture gets bigger here, there's more of an opportunity for those items to be damaged by other shoppers. The same goes for almost all items, they seem to be haphazardly merchandised and then overstocked. What I was a fan of is the customer service. I needed help on my first visit and the associate I encountered was cheerful and friendly and showed me the secret location. The same was true the next day but by a different employee, and then again at the register by the cashier. My mother was robbed I. This store! A man and woman team stole her wallet! She went to customer service to report them and they told her there was nothing she could do when she needed to go to the police. She then proceeded to the police department who came back with her and asked them to see the tapes. They said they will not release the tapes until they get a formal letter in writing from the police department. Meanwhile, these people were charging thousands and thousands of dollars on her credit cards up and down route one. They did nothing to help her. She's 83 years old and they totally took advantage of her. Be careful in the store. They will not help you. read more

Stopped into this location on a recent trip through the area and picked up a foldable wagon to help me with my upcoming move. When I got it home and opened it I found not only was a part missing but even if I could replace the missing part the bar is broken. Called and was told there's nothing to be done unless I can return it, which I can't, so I'm just out $80. I feel like you shouldn't sell broken things. read more

You reach a point in life when some bargains are simply too expensive. Home Goods in the strangely configured Nassau Park Pavilion is a destination to avoid - crowded, clogged and populated with rabid Lululemon zombies that bring fresh terror to any nightmare. Place large furniture randomly within a fairly small footprint interspersed with narrow aisles of riot-strewn white goods, plastic palm trees and piles of picked-over housewares and you have the perfect storm for retail chaos that would make the rug merchants of Tangiers recoil in horror. Now just for grins, add freakishly large shopping carts and endless checkout lines into this potboiler and you have a suburban fight club worthy of every HGTV house frau in New Jersey. Nassau Park Pavilion itself is part of the problem. The mall seems to be the fever dream hallucination of a blind meth addict as nothing is easy in this gridlocked circus dominated by insufficient parking and choked access. My wife thinks these design flaws are a game to overcome, as for myself I can get mismatched cookware at any garage sale in town. So why bother. read more

I love home goods. I purchase so many gifts from here over the holidays. One of my favorite things about the store is the clearence sections in each department. Often you can find some pretty great bargains. During the holidays they assemble gift baskets around the store and expanded their toy section. If you like to make gift baskets this place is the right place to shop. You can peace together kitchen themed baskets using the cooking and food sections. There is also a candle, bath toiletrees, bathroom section. The options for ideas are endless. There are some nice fruniture pieces and carpets here too. Their bed in a bag options are nice too. I believe they will help you carry items to your car as well. This is just a really nice place to shop for home decor and gifts. If you've ever shopped in TjMaxx, marshals, or Ross's home section, Home Goods is pretty much an expansion of that. They have really cool snacks too. Sometimes when I don't want to spend too much money on a gift I will come here and buy an interesting snack for the person. They do have iffy customer service sometimes :/ read more

Came here recently to buy some Christmas presents and walked away with a few random objects in tow! I'd actually been to this HomeGoods location previously, but in that case I was looking for a desk. I actually was pretty disappointed with their selection and price point in that category, but with respect to stocking stuffers, they fared much better. The selection was quite varied and interesting, and most of the stuff was cheap too! I can definitely see ourselves coming back here next Christmas to buy other miscellaneous gifts for our loved ones :) read more

Went in hoping to find a cheap set of silicon cooking tools. Left with $100 worth of groceries and my mind totally blown. Even though I've shopped at Home Goods here and there, I never realised that they carried a big selection of organic dry goods, some from very well know brands. As I perused I saw that they had figs, berries, nuts, honey, snacks, protein powders, pasta, sauces, oils and much more. Not enough to become your one stop store but certainly enough to bulk up your organic pantry. The pricing is, I'd estimate, 30 to 40% cheaper than a place like Whole Foods or Wegmans. Same exact stuff too. I'd definitely consider coming back once a month just for the food angle. Really surprising find! read more

This is a great store! The store was filled up with everything home related. My favorite cookware were here. They also have. a great variety of linens, pet food, some cool snacks, and great carpeting for the house. The store is easy to navigate, and all the aisles are marked to the specific item that you need. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well. Great store overall! read more

If a customer asks you to simply look In the back for something why make up some stupid policy that you bs manager pulled out of their a$$ !! I love going here. They have a good selection of things. I usually come here for my dog items. Depending on the time of year their dog items stock will fluctuate from having lots of items in a particular category (ex.treats) to having less things such as beds. Recently they have 2 isles oh dog bed over flooding the isle. Lots of options to choose from. Was very happy in paying 50% less then petsmart next door. Though I don't normally rely on getting dog treats here; occasionally you'll find things such as the dog teeth cleaning treat greenies, which are about $3-4 less then petsmart. As for the other treats I normally don't buy them as they upset my dogs stomach, other than that love this place! read more

While shopping here is not the most relaxing experience, you can usually find what you need at an incredibly reasonable price. Their holiday decor is particularly well stocked and you can find an assortment of traditional, kitschy, and modern pieces to satisfy your aesthetic palette. I have not purchased large furniture here but I have seen some nice pieces over the years. Their candles and diffusers are also great as are their food goods. I've gotten olives and spices from here that I've really enjoyed. If you are serious about purchasing organizing products from here, be warned that you'll probably find one of each item which can be annoying but if you're looking for a single item like a laundry basket or a small tray etc, you should be fine. The checkout lines can be long and overwhelming but they move pretty quickly and the cashiers are pleasant. This place is amazing. The selection of accent pieces, furniture and decorations is incredibly diverse, and they're always getting new shipments of stuff. The employees here are friendly (LOVE Lynn!), helpful and accommodating. I have been a loyal customer of HomeGoods, Princeton for over two years now, and you won't even believe some of the gems I have found here! 400- thread count Egyptian Cotton designer sheets, beautiful lighting, wall art, mirrors, decorative platters, picture frames... While I usually find great deals the customer service leaves a lot to be desired. I had a cart full of things I want to purchase and had to leave because they had only a handful of cashiers during my lunch hour with about 12 people in line. I called when I left because I couldn't even get anyone's attention in the store to ask if I could leave it and come back tomorrow. The person who answered asked a manager and came back and said they would only hold it until they closed tonight. They need more than 3 cashiers in the middle of the day. read more
