They…read moreare a smallish shop with antiques and gifts (but there is a larger shop next door called Southern Thoughtfulness.) They had free coffee while I was there which was tasty and also for sale in small packages. I assume a local coffee company but forgot to ask. My wife and I found several items to purchase. I bought some old spoons to make a wind chime. My wife found an Iris and Herringbone bowl for $4 (either here or next door... I forget.) They do have a clean restroom. I didn't get the address but their next-door neighbor to the left is 8362 Old Hwy 171, Grand Cane, LA 71032. I did jot down their hours which are Tues-Fri 10-5, Sat 10-2, Sun-Mon closed.

I placed an order online for the 14 in bowl with wildflowers pained on it April 11th 2026. On April…read more27th I still hadn't received it nor had I been given a tracking number so I became worried that I had been scammed. I sent a message and was quickly reassured the item would be shipped out by next week. I became suspicious that I was not going to receive my bowl when another week passed and I did not receive it or a tracking number. I started to lose hope and thought I was going to have to contact my bank. A couple days went by and I sent another message basically requesting a refund if the item was not available and I'm so glad I didn't receive a refund. My bowl is so beautiful. It looks more like a piece of artwork. It is worth the cost as well as the extended time it took to receive it. I highly recommend Martinez pottery.

Yes it is crowded with tons of finds but the prices are way better than fancy local gift shops and way more to choose from. Almost all of my decor, soaps, organic cleaning supplies, girl gifts, towels, blankets, sheets etc come from here. Know before you go if you have never been to a Homegoods or TJ Maxx, it is a lot of stuff to look at and overwhelming. However, if you don't have a plan for the day and just want an in expensive treat for yourself or gift for a friend, you can go here and slowly walk the isles and find a beautiful treasure to make yourself happy. If you are a thrifter or love garage sales, this is place for you. Make sure you give yourself plenty of time because there are soooo many treasures to look at all at reasonable prices.
