The lone teenage staff member did not greet me, and even put on big headphones for good measure. Having said that, I like their style of having many different new books, rarely seen at other bookstores, available, but in many cases just one of each title. There's nothing more boring than going to the classics section and seeing fifteen different publications of Little Women. Their used books (in the way back by the restroom) seem a lot cleaner and newer than is typical for a used bookshop, which was nice.

Denise, the owner…read moreof, is a mover and a shaker, constantly involved in literacy events, author events, teen book fairs, book clubs, etc. A great friend of local authors she regularly hosts author events (mine included) and is about as customer friendly as one can be. Denise opened the store right when I moved to Perrysburg. I stopped in very early on because I figured she'd last about 6 months, tops. Eight years later. . . Great place to browse, attend events, buy gifts or just talk books and writing with the staff.

I found a cool book on the Songbirds of North America with a disk of actual songs. There are plenty of books to browse through and the prices are very reasonable. My only complaint by my sister was no database to assist in the search, but I was okay as I enjoyed perusing the shelves. Will be back !!!

The book selection is pretty nice and I found a few John Saul books for really good prices! Its a cute bookshop that is in a small town with cute little shops and restaurants. I was told it would be just 2-3 days, to get them so I placed the order since I was going to ship them overnight. It's now going on SIX days later with no return call from Toledo's Barnes & Noble, as promised. I just tried calling the store, and after about 15 rings someone finally picked up and couldn't find my order, so she said she would ask her manager to "try" to give me a call back today. (It's 11a and the store doesn't close until 9p.) Next time, I'll order the book for $2 less per copy through Amazon Prime AND have it delivered to my doorstep the next day. #FasterCheaperBetter

Great place to save money with great finds. Everything is like brand new yet used. I first started going to this place a little over 3 years ago when I found out I was a teen mom with little money. This place was a great place to start and get brand things for much less. As an example, I got a 3 in 1 crib, 2 in 1 stroller with infant car seat, bath tub for baby, clothes and essentials and a few toys all for less than $375 over the course of a few months. This Place is filled with steal deals if you look in the right places and if the owner doesn't have something, communicate, she often gets more things and some stuff goes pretty quick. I purchased a V-tech Go Go smart wheels set from this shop. Before I even paid the owner was giving…read moreme problems! The race track pieces were separated into five clear plastic bags. The 5 bags were taped together with masking tape, except for 1. The 1 bag not connected, but sitting next to the ones taped together, was the ONLY set with a price. Clearly, it seemed the set with the price tag got disconnected from the other 4. The owner was adamant these sets didnt come together and randomly priced the set at $45. I accepted, went home and set it up. Of course; there are a lot of pieces that don't connect to anything! (Such as downward ramp pieces that must connect to something). I called the owner and explained that I believe the 5th set was in fact apart of what I had purchased. She told me no, it wasn't apart of the set and I could bring in the pieces that don't fit anything, for a credit toward the 5th set!! Which makes no sense; i want to complete my set not give pieces away??! Seems like another worker priced the set incorrectly at $23 and the owner wasnt going to let it go for that price. Very shady! Now my set is incomplete and she wants me to pay more money to get the pieces that belong to my set. Horrible customer service.
