When I inquired about the charger, Ben answered all of my questions and he was quick to respond. There was a miscommunication about the distance of the panel and the distance of the outlet but Ben kept the estimated quote as it is. He even went to the house in the middle of fathers day celebration to drop off the missing wire. Now that's what you call a businessman. I learned a lot from our conversation today. I will definitely put some solar panels on the house. He's the kind of guy that you would keep. can't wait to see the pendant light! He was described to me as a "straight-shooter" - and I found this to be a spot-on description. On my initial call Peter was able to guess-timate my needs (I also wanted installation of an emergency generator for the home) and what it would approximately cost for equipment and labor. If I was comfortable with proceeding he would come out to inspect the property and provide me a more detailed recommendation. He did not waste anytime and showed up as promised. After evaluating the gas and electrical setup in the house he provided me with a written estimate and directed me where to purchase the necessary generator (walked me through it). He explained the process from start to finish and was always available for questions and concerns. On the day of install his team arrived on time, very courteous and cleaned up after themselves. He worked well with the plumber (I guess he had to..it was his brother! also a true professional and gem to work with!). At the end of the job payment was exactly as estimated and time to complete on schedule. He even referred me to a service to ensure properly scheduled maintenance. Bottom line- I was impressed with his professionalism and will no doubt be contracting him for future electrical work.

But it seems the company is under new ownership. My more recent job with them was subpar. When I reached out to them, they tried to blame me for misusing the item. The item was a diner booth bench. I was sitting on it! How could I misuse it?! Eventually they agreed to pick up and fix it but not before I had to fight with them to do so. Everyone makes mistakes. It's how you deal with them that makes all the difference. If they had simply apologized and fixed their mistake, I wouldn't have to be writing this bad review.
