The procedure was explained, and follow-up physical therapy allowed for my arm to reach areas inaccessible for years. As a medicare recipient living alone, I was able to participate in a program having a person come to my home to help with chores. I was assigned a nurse coordinating the different aspects of care (doctor visits, physical therapy, home care) receiving phone calls to ensure all was good.

I had surgery and follow up visits and the doctors and nurses were great but the way this facility bills is crazy. The department bill separately and collect separately. We were only made aware of this by time my surgery bill would have been sent to collections. The surgery billing department was more than unpleasant to deal with even the supervisor. Never was told about payment plans but they were more than willing to take money monthly until they put us into collections. Hard lesson learned but the willingness to help out in a simple misunderstanding is unfortunate.

I didn't ask to be in a car accident. I didn't ask for any of this. Never in my life have I been treated so horribly by any professional staff of any service. Orthoillinois' solution was to pair their profiles online with specific doctors instead of the entire clinic like it was when I made my initial complaint. Thank you Katie for all of your help here and Dr. Zussmans team, especially Mike Karg and Michelle Finn for ruining my life! Cheers to you! Hopefully the Illinois Medical Board and NCCPA will take me more seriously.

Went to see Jon Whitehurst, MD. after I heard somebody talking about him at Bagels and More in…read moreBeloit. It was an incredible testimonial. They had me see the PA, Francie Kelso first. I thought I had a torn rotator cuff, but she said I had frozen shoulder. I literally could not lift my arm any higher than my shoulder. Dr. Whitehurst came in after and confirmed frozen shoulder. This guy is like an American hero: flew fighter jets off of aircraft carriers and went to Top Gun in Miramar California!! I could talk to him all day!! Ms. Kelso came in and gave me a steroid shot guided by ultrasound into my shoulder. Two minutes after the shot, I could raise my arm straight up. It sounds impossible, and it really was a miracle. So stoked I don't need surgery!!!!!! Going back in three weeks for them to look at it again. So great, so professional, so nice!!
