The nurse called the police to complain my injury was shaking, twitching when she tranquilized me and I not even listen or talk to her when sedated. She called more police and brought police into room to show how I not even listen when she really do talk out loud to me. The nurse as a Dr tried to say I was just drunk but breathalzer was 000. When awakened in locked unit, staff from Janet Wattles and med students all stared and nobody ask or say anything, again. They were trying to get ins co to believe they MD and get payment for me, but police not do that or understand why call and can not arrest for stare think and act like it the victim as most staff often does, unless pregnant or in labor, they wait until not have baby with you to be mentally abusive act like it you and then call police, again. After 8 days, a police officer came and I followed them out as they not know I was drunk patient for not really drunk or abusive like they said. Later, that day I had corrective surgery on orthopedic injury at St. Anthony, then went home that afternoon. The staff would have kept me in psychiatric for as long as insurance say they will pay for as staff of med students, psychology students, and new hire nurses want to study. From what I understand lots of staff swear, lie, complain if not drink alcohol, believe they sick when not (hypochondriac) and project that issue onto patients who are sick, and/or injured.

I was a single parent. Little did they know that I had to go past the room I gave birth in, which was a A207, every day. It was the result of a date assault and the baby was placed for adoption. It was very traumatic for me and every day going to work, I was reminded of what happened. They said, I was frequently late. They said I was spacing out. They said so much garbage about me behind my back. They would have a hard time concentrating too if they were in my shoes. Fast forward years later. I'm married to a wonderful man with an awesome father who grew to be like my dad. One day my father-in-law was having a stroke. We took him to the ER which was now Javon Bea hospital. I told the lady at the front desk that my father-in-law was having a stroke. She told us to take a number and sit down. Take a number? Really? An hour later, he passed out in the waiting room. The nurse came running out after I frantically went up to the window and asked me what happened. I told her that I told the girls at the window 1 hour ago we think please having a stroke and they told me to take a number and have a seat. She was very rude and acted like we some nerve complaining. My father-in-law passed away. This health system has been horrible for decades. I thought maybe it had gotten better over the years but I was wrong. Don't ever take your loved one there or work there.

Any requests should be directed in a kind way so that you can decline even, if another patient needs to learn venous puncuture by your arm, as you are not there as a student or a prop; you are a patient too. Make certain you keep track of all your payment receipts as I did. I proved that I had paid every single time I was there and then some; as I helped in bringing lunch, gorceries, and some office supplies as a kind gesture without payment or ANY reimbursement, as it was an act of compassion. I had all my receipts Her billing department a year later, sent me a bill and said other wise. I had it all there for proof. It took hours of my time, without any comment or confirmation, and lastly no apology for the time it took from me. I now have a wonderful Holistic MD who is like a friend and he respects and appreciates my efforts when I learn information I pass along that he can share.

What does her talking about demons, religious beliefs, her husband being from Ghana where multiple wives are common, have to do with my initial office visit re medical? What does asking my retired atty husband in my presence in her office to write a cease and desist letter to an oncologist out of OSF hospital in Rockford have to do with our medical needs? We found we could NOT personally trust her statements and advice nor that of her office staff. My regret is going to her in the first place & placing ANY trust in her or her practice. If you go to see her, you do so at your own risk. You may want to record her to have documentation of her statements, because she will deny them. In IL you must legally inform anyone when you are going to record the conversation. One may want to check out Pryor Health in the Rockford area for stellar, professional, quality heath options & treatment choices. Ranked 4.9 in hundreds of reviews
