Walking down Main Street we passed the window of Olsen stoneware and was taken by surprise at how gorgeous the pieces were. I saw some blue pattern that would really look nice in my kitchen and went inside to inquire. The prices aren't cheap, but they're not exorbitant either. I'd say they are fairly priced. There were many different varieties in the particular piece I was looking at. Different colors, some had patterns, some were larger, and some were smaller. I chose one and I'm so happy with it. I wish I could have bought more. The quality is exceptional. The colors are vibrant and the artist Absolutely knows what they're doing. This is a fun shop to look through. More than just pottery. There are all sorts of things to catch your eye and make you want to linger and buy something as a memento to take home. My memento is going to be well used. read more

I love Olsen's pottery. My kitchen is filled with many wonderful pieces. In the past I have broken a lid to one of my canisters. They told me to save the pieces and bring or mail them in. They made me a new lid which is amazing. Love Olsen's. read more

Every piece I've owned holds up to everyday life (and I have children!) They hold up in the dishwasher, microwave and have even survived a fall or two. 2. Unique design: I will forever buy original pieces from Olsen's rather than factory made stuff from China. It completes the look of my kitchen! 3. Customer service: I always love cruising in the store in Weaverville when I'm in town visiting family. The staff is always very helpful and friendly. Olson mugs are just the best, that's all. The glazing is beautiful. They're strong but very lightweight for stoneware, because of the skill of the artist. They hold a nice large pour, so you don't need a refill right away. The handles are perfectly shaped for comfort in the hand, and are placed well so they never feel top-heavy when full. In short, my idea of heaven is to be curled up by a warm fire in the winter, with a good book, and an Olson mug full of hot tea. read more

Olson Stoneware is top notch. Selection is great and their prices are very reasonable. They not only offer stoneware but they also have a ton of decorative items normally reserved for people like Chip & Joanna Gaines of HGTV. We decorated our entire house with items we purchased from Olson Stoneware, as well as purchasing custom/personalized stoneware for my daughter. Very beautiful stoneware! Gorgeous colors! Does not crack. Just a short drive from Redding.

I really like this pottery store. Heard that the family has been doing and selling pottery since early 1970s. Quality is top notch and prices are affordable. The glaze is very beautiful. The store is nice to browse in and find a souvenir to take home. Lots of different pottery to choose from. I found a very nice bowl that I am displaying on my coffee table. The lady that was running the store the day I visited was very friendly and packed my bowl well for the trip home. read more

My parents have collected Olson's stoneware since before I was born. They have a range of pottery from the browns to the more recent purples, and we love it all. The staff always are great at providing ideas, and my dad has even had them make custom products. I cherish the beautiful salad bowl, teapot, and coffee mug (trophy from a 5K) that I own. Next time I'm in Weaverville I'm sure I'll add to my collection. Olson's is located in the middle of the historic section of Weaverville. Definitely check them out! read more

I fell in love with this store! I've bought from the family here in Redding and was excited to check out the store front in Weaverville. The woman working took the time to tell me the history of the family when I told her it was my first time in. The products are all exceptionally well done and worth the time to stop in and money for the stoneware and other products. read more
