I told them it wasn't right but they tried to tell me it was and not taking responsibiltity was the first mistake. I was frustrated as I just paid over 500 dollars for new skis and 300 for bindings and it felt like I just got a christmas present and it was destroyed for a frustrating reason. I was still forced to pay for the horrendus mounting job as all I could think of was how I just wasted 900 dollars for unskilled and untrusting people to do a job for me. I felt robbed and manipulated after trying again, repeatedly having the same outcome as the previous times and my gear has never benefited from it. I haven't been there since and will never be taking my skis or bike in there again.

There prices are competitive with other similar retailers, and when I'm purchasing gear I often check the price at Sportsman's Warehouse and purchase from whoever has the best price. The parking lot is shared with the rest of the strip mall, and it isn't THE EASIEST lot to get into. But it's plenty big and there's ample space.

Today, I drove 90 miles and was the only customer in the golf department (and almost the entire store). First, a woman named Bobbie started talking to me and explained she was not really a golfer and had limited experience on fittings. Kevin arrived in the fitting room and told me that he had (some kind of) "applicant-orientation" and that he would not be able to do the fitting, however, Bobbie could help me. And, if Bobbie had any questions, he could make himself available for her. I ask him if he wasn't aware of my appointment? And, he said that he was not informed about that. Then he looked at my old clubs (which I brought in) and told me he would not be able to replace those. I said, well - I am here to buy new clubs. We went back and forth on my fitting and his job applicant, and it was clear he did not want to be bothered at that time, but continued to say Bobbie can do it, even though she has never fitted anyone before. Again, nothing against Bobbie - she was very polite - but she was admittedly unqualified. So, I just said I would go somewhere else -- and there was absolutely no objection on their part. Whether it were my old clubs or the job-applicant, it did not matter -- he had no interest in helping (even though I was about to drop $3,000 to $5,000 - whatever the amount for a whole new set of clubs).

They told me that they would call me once they got approval. I never got a phone call. I had to reach out and call them. Not a huge deal just a little unprofessional on their end if you say something, then do it. My buddy was looking to buy a suppressor so I recommended Homestead and he purchased a suppressor from them and was told it would take two weeks and he will receive a phone call, well he never got that phone call that so my buddy went into the store to get stuff cleared up and they had messed up on his approval paperwork and never submitted it, so he asked for some sort of refund and they refused to reimburse him,my buddy accepted it. They told him they would make it right and He would have his Suppressor within a week and a half to two weeks. Time came of 2 weeks and no phone call so he called into the store and they had messed up his approval paperwork once again and didn't submit it, my buddy asked for a full refund and they did not give him his full refund...they asked for a restocking fee of 20%.....get it together pretty scummy! Second, the employees ignored me and when I asked where something was, they were extremely rude! Everything is waaaaaay more expensive that Dicks, so that's who I will give me business to. This store sucks!!! I figured they were close to going out of business and might have some deals, but even if there was good deals, the employees ruined the experience for me. Won't be back!
