I have been a loyal patient at this office for about 20 years. With 23 3/4 hours to go until my appointment for a routine cleaning I was told I'd have to pay a penalty fee for cancellation less than 24 hours! At that notion, I became very upset and definitely cancelled my appointment. Having paid thousands of dollars out of my pocket for dental work, I'd have thought there would be more of a courtesy extended. i came here for my first dental appointment since the pre-covid days, and i was not disappointed! they were booking out a few weeks from when i called, but when the time came for my appointment, all went smoothly. they do take your temperature when you arrive, and masks are required. the waiting room is clean, comfortable, and modern. i saw a complimentary snack/beverage bar (that i didn't use but i was thinking about it!) and a small room just off the lobby that looked like it had kids' toys in it. i filled out some forms and was taken back to the most comfortable dentist chair i've ever sat in! i was given freshly-washed sunglasses to protect against all the lights when you're lying back with your mouth open, and there was a tv playing some relaxing footage. they took x-rays first before bringing me back to the exam room, my cleaning was done first by a hygienist, and it was extremely thorough. she really took her time and explained to me what she was doing at every stage. then, the doctor came in for the exam. dr. ho was very friendly and also thorough, explaining what he was seeing and making sure i felt comfortable. everyone was so genuinely friendly in this office! i will absolutely be returning regularly. they also offer free whitening kits with regular (6 month) cleanings. i'm not someone who is typically afraid of the dentist, but i can't imagine anyone having a less than stellar experience with the staff and amenities here. read more

I'm saw Dr. Ho as a kiddo and when I relocated back to the Lacey area last year there was no other place I wanted to be re-established at than this office. From the front staff to the back team everyone is always so kind and considerate. If you want all around quality care this is the place to go! read more

I've been to this dentist a few times before COVID, and I was reasonably impressed. They have the works: nice waiting room, massage chairs, and any TV you might want to watch. And they've always had perfectly decent customer service. Recently, I had an appointment and called to find out what COVID precautions they were taking. They said they were following all the guidelines etc. But when I got there, a few things troubled me. First, the parking lot was packed. The place was so busy! I would have expected them to reduce the volume of appointments, not increase them. I even heard them complaining about how slammed they were. Second, people were waiting in the lobby. They were distanced-ish, probably close to 6ft, but not enough for my comfort level, which is admittedly more than 6ft indoors. Also I was not screened at all before I entered the lobby. No call asking if I'd had symptoms, no temperature check. They took my temperature before I went back to see the dentist, which indicated to me that they were protecting their staff (YES, GOOD), but not their patients. Third, there was leaf litter on the chair I sat in. That was evidence to me that they weren't adequately wiping down the rooms between patients. And how could they if they were indeed "slammed"? I probably should have just walked away, but I decided to take a calculated risk due to the fact that COVID numbers are only predicted to go up this winter and I didn't want to make another appointment for the height of flu season. Anyway, under normal circumstances, this is a great business. But I think they could do a little better during the pandemic. read more

I was very impressed with Olympic Dental Group. The staff are really friendly and amazing. I really like the modern look of everything. When you get there, the waiting room has modern furniture and a laid back vibe. There are complimentary snacks and beverages and a TV and a little play room for the kids while you wait. Then when you go to the back, prepare to have your socks knocked off. They have all the latest equipment and they have big screen TV's right above your face while you recline in the chairs (which also have a massage function) and you can pick from movies or watch Hulu or whatever you want while they do what they need to do with your teeth. There are even wireless headphones to use which are like noise cancellation just in case dental equipment gets your nerves rattled. I mean...all the technology is amazing. The first time I went the cleaning was a little rough, but I hadn't been to the dentist in a while so I guess it was for good measure. The second time I went it was much more pleasant and I thought I was going to have to come back 2 more times for the rest of my cleaning but the lady was able to rearrange the schedule so quickly and I ended up getting it all done in one day. The doctor was nice although I only saw him briefly as he gave the orders to the hygienists and to review the xrays which they put up on the TV so you can see them more closely and zoom in if you want. I'm pretty sure this will be more dental choice for quite some time. I can actually say I loved going to the dentist. read more

Does not care about patients I am in agony and the front desk lady Becka said the dentist would not prescribe me pain medication even though I am bruised and swollen, and have been in agony since my extraction yesterday. I am at urgent care now and the nurses could not believe the dentist wouldn't help with pain management considering how bruised and swollen I am...my gums have a tear that should most likely have had stitches in it. I am so saddened and appalled at how I was dismissed and treated. My whole family has gone here for over 5 yrs. This is not the first time I a have been snubbed or spoke to in a dismissive manner by the front desk lady...however the dental assistant's have always been soooo AMAZING, that I have continued to go here. I will be changing to a different dentist office now which is so sad, both of my children are so comfortable with the dental staff but this complete mistreatment. I will also be filing a formal complaint with Washington State Dental Quality Assurance Commission. read more

I've always hated the dentist, like many. I've been to this dentist previously for some pretty extensive work (filling, crown, & extraction all in one sitting). I came back for a cosmetic procedure today (fix a chipped tooth) because oh how GREAT they took care of me during my big visit. It's genuinely a luxury dentist at regular pricing. Heated massage chairs, noise canceling headphones with Hulu/Netflix/YouTube, soft fuzzy blankets... and they care VERY MUCH about your comfort and YOU being in full control of your care. I also took my son here for his first cleaning, and I'm so happy I did. They gave him the experience everyone deserves and made sure the dentist wasn't a scary place to go. I highly discourage you going anywhere else. Also, which is JUST as important- the work they've done while putting me first is exceptional. I mean, I willingly went back for cosmetic work without fear!!! Guys- I cried the first time from nerves alone. I wish every dentist could be as amazing. Sorry for not remembering your name, but praise God, I'm so happy we came to your office. If you're in need of dental work, I couldn't recommend this place any more highly. 11/10 any day of the week. Extremely friendly staff. Great dentist!! I have had a number of things done from cleanings to multiple crowns all at once with sedation. I am not a fan of going to the dentist as many people but they make me feel very comfortable and as a bonus they have big screen tvs to distract you and massage/heated chairs. read more

I had three crowns put on recently and I want to let you know a few things about this dental office. The first is that every time I visited this office everyone that worked there was authentically friendly and professional. They went above and beyond to make sure I felt relaxed, comfortable, and confident in their work. Secondly the dentist, Dr. Ho, has an extremely patient centered manner. He's perfected the art of giving novocaine to the point that it DID NOT hurt at all. He continued to check on my comfort level while he worked on my teeth. Speaking of comfort is my third point. This office has the most comfortable dentist chairs that I've ever been in and I have been in many. They put pillows under my knees, gave me a blanket in case I got cold, and Bluetooth headphones to use while I watched my favorite show on Netflix. The time flew by as they repaired three of my teeth. Finally, I am able once more to chew on both sides of my mouth without pain, and they stand behind their work. I honestly could not give a higher recommendation to Olympia Dental Group. This is the best dental experience I've ever had. By the way, I came here because the VA American Lake and I couldn't be happier. read more

Best dentist I have ever been to! Such a friendly staff and Dr. Ho is incredible! They are always informing you of what they can do to help you out for healthy teeth and how to financially take care of it. Not to mention while your getting your teeth cleaned, you get to sit in a massage chair and watch a TV that's in every single room. The staff here were amazing, and they did really well with my toddler. Dr. Ho was so nice, and the technician helping us was great. I really wish it could have worked out because it seems like a great place with great staff. Dr. Ho said since we are on well water, my toddler needed fluoride tablets, it was a very common thing. So he wrote me a prescription and I took it my pharmacist to get it filled, and she immediately questioned the script. She said the dose seemed way to high for a toddler, and at the milligram strength prescribed could be toxic and cause serious issues. She was suppose to be given a prescription for 0.25 mg, and instead it was written for 1 mg, 4 times the normal dose. I was extremely upset, since it was a year long prescription and is something I would be giving her for a period of time. While I totally understand that med errors happen, as a parent, this was terrifying and made it hard for me to trust them and go back. This was over a year ago, I decided not to say or do anything since I didn't want to cause a fuss. But today, I get a call from a woman saying my daughters prescription was expiring, and she needed to come in for a recheck. I told her thank you, but I did not have a good experience last time, and did not plan on coming back. Instead of taking a moment to apologize, or even ask what had happened, she very rudely said "ok thanks bye" and hung up the phone. I was a little shocked, everyone there had been so nice. But clearly this woman could care less, and it was upsetting that my daughter almost received a dangerous med error, and she couldn't take 30 seconds to ask why I had a bad experience. I never felt the need to say anything about my experience until I got that rude response, which made me feel like she could care less. Always double check your scripts and meds being given. read more
