Friends Wedding Reception We needed a florist for these special occasions and we wanted to make sure that they were close so that the flowers stayed fresh. I posted a project on Yelp and was immediately contacted by Maria. This let me know they were prompt for one, but she was super helpful and friendly. This sealed the deal for us. I had reached out months in advance for this because I wanted to ensure nothing went wrong and that I had time to fix it if it did. Maria not only offered her opinions and suggestions but also gave me feedback on ideas that we were playing with and or considering. Communication and service was top tier as she checked in with me throughout the weeks leading up to the events and most important days of our lives. We also chose delivery and she arrived promptly every single time! She knocked it out of the park on all of our expectations and she's just a wonderful person to work with. My wife was so pleased with the bouquet and boutonniere used for our special wedding events. The pictures speak for themselves! Maria even sent pictures of the bouquet beforehand to ensure we loved what we saw. When I called to inquire about her services, she made the time to meet me that day and we had a great conversation - and I wished I had hired her from the very beginning!!! Roxanne went ABOVE and BEYOND, we literally met for 8 hours at a time on many occasions to make sure we had all the details right, made wise vendor selections and she thought of all the things I didn't. She was literally working day and night to make my wedding a success. Roxanne uses software that is user friendly and efficient, and her excel skills are so impressive. She is organized, detail oriented, timely, responsible, reliable, thoughtful, and honestly the list just goes on..and on...and on!!! On top of all this, she is such a kind person, you can feel her warm spirit upon the first time you meet her. She is always calm no matter what kind of stressful thing comes her way and for that I am SO grateful. Just one week before the wedding, the hotel where we had booked our bridal suite called to tell me that they had accidentally triple booked and we no longer had the suite. I freaked out and Roxanne dropped everything she was doing that day to come and talk with the GM of the hotel and the way she negotiated a new deal resulted in an even better situation than we originally had! She handled challenges with vendors, family, etc with such grace and tact. Though she is so sweet, she was also firm and fair with negotiations and I always felt like she was advocating for me as the bride rather than trying to make extra bucks for preferred vendors - while also respecting the crafts and expertise of the vendors. Her many years of experience showed so many times when she was able to come up with creative solutions to seemingly insurmountable problems caused by my previous planner. She also came up with innovative ways to stay within budget as much as possible. I saved thousands of dollars working with Roxanne! My wedding of 400+ guests would have been a complete mess if it weren't for her. Roxanne made me feel so comfortable in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and the day of was no different. She was there early in the morning, ensured we had breakfast and lunch for the bridal party, and I even had another staff member, Amy, with me all day to address anything I needed. Roxanne's staff was communicating with one another all day and with vendors ensuring everything was going according to the detailed timelines she created. She had staff at the hotel, the church and the reception venue at all times to ensure everything was happening as it should and to assist vendors as needed. When we were running behind schedule, she and her team were able to switch things around to accommodate our needs and keep us on track. Most importantly, Roxanne and her team stayed at our reception venue until the very end (5AM!!) to ensure that all vendors met the rules of our very strict venue so we would not be fined. Because of Roxanne and her team, not even 1 flower petal was left behind! No doubt, the Tres Belle team are the ultimate wedding planning professionals. This review doesn't even begin to capture everything Roxanne and her team did for my wedding. My family, husband and I are eternally grateful!!!! The two previous places I went, both very notorious in the area.... I would tell them my budget was $7k and requested that they help me out with what I would like at the wedding for centerpieces, etc.- and they would write me up an estimate for $10 to $12k. First thing I would notice is that when you're talking to a Florist, they take a good look at the size of your diamond ring (no joke). From there, they estimate what you can afford, not by what is coming out of your mouth. I hated that. Juan Carlos at Tierra Floral was the one who stood out to me- he never glanced at my ring and he was very straight forward if something I was dreaming for was not in my budget- BUT he would provide what I wanted with perhaps a lower cost flower to give me the same look but for less. In the end, he provided THAT SAME LOOK that the other florists were giving me... but for MUCH LESS. As a business owner myself, I can tell you that Juan Carlos is a true business owner. He's not there to rip you off. He is truly in this industry to create that memorable look for you, so that even he can look back and say, "I did that beautiful look." This guy stands behind his work. He was always available for me to stop by and discuss anything I needed. I kept changing my ideas left and right and he was on top of it. He would update my estimate, change my colors, anything at my discretion - I mean, at some point I asked him to use his own judgment when he was at the wedding setting up and if something didn't work, I trusted he would either remove it from the setup or place it elsewhere. This guy is THE ONE. My centerpieces were over 7 ft tall and people walked in just in awe! It was ENCHANTING! After the wedding, people were sending me personal messages about how beautiful my flowers were! I looked back at photos from the wedding.... and I saw Juan Carlos had put flower petals and roses in places I never requested or expected... he felt in his experience it would be a nicer look.... and my goodness, how lucky am I to have chosen him?! WOW! It was just PERFECT. All GLAM! He really hit the nail on the head when he designed it so that it was beautiful in the end, even if you didn't ask for it or pay for it. That is a true florist. Someone who didn't walk away when your funds were up, but continued to do the service because he believed in his work!!! You are the BEST Juan Carlos, truly! The friendly staff at Blossoms helped me decide what I should order based on the information I gave them about the recipient. (I knew she likes colorful flowers and needed cheering up.) She was very happy with the arrangement that Blossoms staff created; She even sent a second picture a few days later showing how the arrangement was blooming so nicely. I'll use Blossoms by Bethesda again, I highly recommend them.
