The installer didn't check the tint rating before starting the work and just put on what they have on hand. The new tint is darker than the tint removed and the tint on the driver side door. The tint they removed was rated at 40% and the tint they put on is 35%. The owner checked the rating with a scanner tool on both windows when I brought it to their attention and he agreed it was a different shade but said there was nothing he could do. He said he won't refund any money and won't re tint the driver side door window to match unless I pay another $55. He refused to work with me to make it right even though he agreed they made a mistake. I don't feel like I should have to pay more money to fix their mistake.
