We love our Linden tree. It's in the front yard, beeeaaaauuuutiful and looking a bit peaked. We called Omaha Tree to check it out. How can we save our tree? How can my front porch not be nekkid to passers-by as I write this review? We called these folks to come take a look to see if they could save our tree. Alas, we had a borer problem. Super customer service (not in the nagging, we're going to try to upsell you on every single issue but want to help you save your tree, kind of way). Comes in to check in on our tree. For a slight cost ($150/year x3 years) they come out, check in, give us advice for maintaining our tree and stick in the tree-saving lollipops. OK...so is $150 a year a bit much? Mayhaps. But we really do LOVE our Linden. read more

Due to a windstorm, we lost a major limb and other branches from an old maple tree. They came out and gave me a written estimate, saying they could clean up the tree the next day. We agreed, but when they came back, they said they would have to increase the price. After some bickering back and forth, I agreed. They did most of the work, but refused to remove one damaged limb that was resting on my house because it was too high for the equipment they had with them. So, after they left, I got out my long extension ladder and raised it as high as it would go. I climbed it, climbed up into the tree and cut off and removed the limb myself. I'm in my 70's. I complained to the company in writing and to the Better Business Bureau but Omaha Tree chose to ignore my complaint with no response. read more

Called to arrange an estimate Sunday, had a visit and received estimate on Monday, and trees cut down and hauled away on Tuesday. The men were professional and did an awesome job. read more

My husband recently did some significant trimming of trees, bushes, etc. in our yard and the amount he cut out was much more than we could have put on the curb for the City to pick up. We also had truckloads of branches to be taken away. We came across Omaha Tree who agreed to take everything away for $300 which was a steal compared to others. They showed up with several industrial trucks and probably at least 8 guys and had the job done in less than an hour. Everyone we encountered was respectful. We will definitely call them again if we have further landscape/tree needs. read more

Very pleased with Omaha Tree. Have dealt with them several times now. Earlier this spring I ordered several yards of red dyed mulch which they delivered via their own truck which really saved me a lot of time and money. Its much cheaper going this way. The delivery driver was very courteous and double checked with me on where he was to dump the mulch which was in the drive way. Earlier today I had Matt's crew which consisted of three guys to trim back and prune a tree in my front yard that has been neglected for years prior to me buying this house. After several bids, I went with Omaha Tree not only because they were lower in costs than the rest, but the fact they were able to do the work within a week. Some of the other companies I had come out and bid were a month or two behind their work schedules. If you're looking to get mulch or have tree work done call upon Omaha Tree. The employees are very nice and friendly and you won't be set aside for having a small job. They do accept CC/DC at their main office if you go out there to purchase mulch. You can load your own into your own truck, or they can drop it off in one of theirs. read more

I am struggling to get a response from this company. They gave me a quote, we set a date for them to come out, but it's been over two weeks since they were supposed to do the job. They haven't shown up and aren't returning my calls. They did a nice job on stump removal and giving me a quick bid on tree trimming, but now they've fallen off the radar :/ read more

My husband and I recently purchased a house that had a few troublesome trees in the backyard. We reached out to several companies for quotes to have them trimmed and selected Omaha Tree in the end, as they were the lowest price. Once we scheduled the service they showed up while I was at work, did their job, and I got a bill in the mail about a week later. Their cuts looked great and they cleaned up very nicely. An all-around excellent experience! I have to give Jeff & his team 5 Stars. Had to do one of those city-required "cut & trim" jobs at my home. I received a fast call-back, on-site visit, professional written quotation, & a very fair price. After giving them the go-ahead, a few days later, Jeff's crew was at my home with the right equipment efficiently doing everything they quoted, including a nice clean-up job. Seriously my new heroes. A windstorm blew a MASSIVE limb off of our oak tree and through the roof of our house. I called Omaha Tree and told them what happened. Matt, the GM, was at my house an hour later to assess the damage and his crew was there a couple hours later with a crane to pull the tree off so we could tarp the roof before it rained. The team was polite, professional, really took care to avoid doing any further damage to my house, and did an excellent job cleaning up before they left. I will absolutely call Omaha Tree for any tree service we need in the future! read more

Would be 5 stars if they were better about giving an approximate time they think they'll be out to do the work earlier on. After initial bid, we didn't get an estimate of when they'd be out for months. They do give you about a 1 week notice when it finally comes time to cut the tree down. That being said, the work was absolutely great, and the price was competitive as well. Totally using them every time! read more

What I don't understand that I find a tree service, their first year is great, their 2nd year is so-so, and their 3rd and beyond they fail. They can't get the spraying service for my crab apple trees spray cycle correct, and once again I will be dealing with the leaf drop issues all summer long - with yellow leaves dropping in the pool every day. Now I have a tree in the front that is 2/3 missing leaves, and I have asked them 4 times to assess the tree to see if it need to be removed, and all they do is to continue to spray a 2/3 dead tree with no leaves, and charge me every month with no assessment of the health of the tree. Time to find another tree service! read more

Not the cheapest place in town, but they do good work, and I like their mulch. We have had Omaha Tree trim trees, remove trees, and have purchased mulch from them on multiple occasions. Side note- what a great business model, I pay you to take down a tree, then pay you again to deliver me mulch! We have been happy with their service all the way around. Living fairly close to their location, it is also nice to see that they have put a lot of time into making their industrial location look as nice as it can, with landscaping, and high end fencing. With their mulch, they offer a variety of colors, and you can pick up onsite, or have it delivered. Good local business. read more

Tree removal is not cheap. While I didn't have a bad experience communicating with the company, I was disappointed that they drove through my entire front lawn to access a tree that was a couple of yards from another road on the side of the house. The equipment broke the curb and I have extremely deep track marks the length of my front lawn, as well as mysterious large divots of missing grass and soil. Now I get to spend more money trying to repair the damage done. I will say the actual removal of the tree and debris was done well. read more

Omaha Tree took advantage of trusting people in a bad situation. Half of our tree came down during the Mother's Day storm. We received several bids and though Omaha Tree was the most expensive we went with them, wanting a reputable company. The quote was high and when we discussed a potential negotiation, Matt said he could keep the cost to a reasonable level if we agreed to do the stump grinding at a later date. He guaranteed that the estimate provided would be honored. Six weeks later we called to schedule the remaining work and were informed the estimate was no longer good. Further, Matt stated we would have to take the box around the tree out to keep the estimate down. This was never discussed in the original estimate. We were the fools who didn't get the guarantee in writing, but this company will definitely take advantage if they get an opportunity. read more

Tree work performed was adequate. Price was about average. I had them trim some taller hedges as well. Said they "could not reach" certain portions. That is why I hired a tree service. You would think they have ladders to do such things. They had to come out and redo work. After not hearing from them on a revised invoice, got a rude voicemail saying that "we talked on X date asking for payment." I went back and checked my phone log and had not received a call, neither had my fiancé who they were supposed to be dealing with. I gladly paid the amount due, but did not appreciate them lying about the previous call. The rude office worker and odd excuse about the hedges would most likely try someone else next time. read more

If you are looking for tree & stump removal, especially mammoth trees, that have been in secluded backyrd. for 50 yrs. Call Matt . Very reliable, great clean up and 4-5 man crew...done in 8 hrs. No scratches on white gate or pagoda as cranes were used to lift up over the house for the lrg. tree sections. Very reasonable and Matt will come to the house for estimates and explanations. Will definitely use Omaha Tree in the spring. read more

We had used Omaha Tree several times before to trim a silver maple in our backyard and they had previously done a good job. On June 16th a big storm came through Omaha and there was a lot of tree damage. We had a few large limbs come down which we took care of but there was a broken limb dangling over my patio and power lines that was too high for us to remove ourselves. There were also some other damaged limbs to be removed and some trimming that needed to be done. I called Omaha Tree again and accepted their estimate to do the work. I know they had more serious jobs to do first but I called and informed them we had to go out of town on June 28th and would like to at least have the broken hanging limb removed before windy storms brought it down on the power lines. Twice I was told that they would be there on a certain day and twice they failed to show or call. They finally showed on the 29th when we were out of state, when we got home we noticed that all the work that was discussed was not done. I called and Matt came back out to check the work, he stated he didn't remember discussing removing the damaged limb but they would come back when they were in the area to finish the job. Still have not heard a word except to receive a bill from Omaha Tree which will remain unpaid until the work is finished. I guess it's a new business practice to say you will show up and then never show or call. read more
