Very disappointing experience…read more I paid about $170 for the first repair for an E:23 error. The technician reattached the hose and assured me that the repair was covered by a warranty. Shortly afterward, the same hose became disconnected again and the washer started leaking water. Now I'm being told that I need to pay another $215 for a connector and installation to prevent the hose from disconnecting again. If the technician already knew during the first visit that a connector was needed to properly and permanently fix the problem, why wasn't I given the option to have it installed then as part of a complete repair? Instead, I paid $170 for a temporary fix, was told it had a warranty, and now I'm being asked to pay even more for a second visit. I would have much preferred an honest, upfront price for a complete repair from the beginning rather than paying twice for the same underlying issue.

I told him as the unit was a decade old, if it would be a major repair, I'd just replace the unit. He installed a part behind the ice maker. I wanted to use my credit card to pay the $300.00 (in the event there was an issue and to begin a dispute), but Mr. Owais stated his cellphone's credit card reader was not working. He asked that I write the check out to him. I did this, but noted the name of the business on the check too. The refrigerator continued to make the noise, and I started calling Master Service Expert's number, emailing and texting. For some time they did not respond. Finally, "Remi" called and said his brother's wife had emergency surgery. He said he would come and look at the unit. Last Tuesday, he telephoned saying the top of my street was closed due to construction, and he would return later. He never returned. I later learned that an NAPD cruiser was there ensuring traffic flow. I plan to file a small claims complaint (they are in Hasbrook Heights so it will only be a drive to Hackensack). Also, they are licensed in NJ and I will reach out to the licensing authority and provide screen shots of the MANY texts exchanged. Said there was nothing to indicate an oil leak. Throughout the week, the washer still smells of gear oil, and on Saturday morning my husband turned the washing machine on its side, unscrewed a cover, and there is gear oil leaking out from the bottom. The agitator did not need to come off; nothing would be visible. Parts can only be accessed from the bottom of the machine. Sent photos and a text to Handler, and they thanked me for the update and said nothing else. Not sure why I paid for a service call/diagnostic fee to tell me nothing was wrong, when clearly something is very wrong. Part on order. App is easy to use, and tech was on time and extremely polite, however: Will absolutely not use this service again, or recommend.
