I have always had back and neck issues from a previous injury, but I've never found a chiropractor that incorporates PT and specializes in athletes until finding Omega Chiro. *pre-covid review* I had hurt my back around the beginning of 2019 (thanks, bad posture) and could NOT move, it was bad! I knew I needed to find a chiropractor to help me get fixed up and back to my old self. One of my friends and old coworkers recommended Dr. Meyers to me so I found him online and scheduled my appointment. I saw Dr. Meyers at Omega at least once a week for a few months, the only reason I had to stop going was because I had some unexpected financial and car troubles pop up. Every time I would leave an appointment I felt better than before. He was great at demonstrating and explaining the necessary exercises needed to help strengthen and help protect against further injury to my back and neck. Not only was he great, his receptionist was just lovely! I don't remember her name sadly but she was a blond woman and I loved getting to chat with her before and after my sessions. I came in to see Dr. Meyer about a peculiar injury I sustained from weightlifting. It was somewhere near my bicep, but it wasn't painful to the touch and only hurt while moving my arm through a certain range of motion. From the initial phone call to schedule my appointment, my experience has been incredible. I have a prior shoulder injury that has resurfaced due to a new workout regimen and I did not want to go back to the orthopedist and have more Cortizone shots. When I walked in to Dr. Myers's office I could barely raise my arm above my head. After one visit with him, I was able to not only lift my arm above my head later in the day but actually hold weight in it at the same time. Dr. Myers got me out of pain but ignored the fact that I specifically asked him not to crack my neck due to migraines and neck issues that orthopedic doctors and neurologists have told me not to have done. They were right -- on my second visit he decided to ignore my request and cracked my neck -- I had a migraine for two days plus and the tinnitus issue that was quiet for two straight days came back with a vengeance. I don't know if it was what he did with my neck (I originally saw him for a knee problem) but I won't return to him. He may be nice and honest and doesn't want you to depend on medication or treatments but I can't depend on him to listen to my requests. read more

I have been seeing Dr. Myers since 2009 and he has always done a great job. In the beginning it was typical maintenance then I was in a car accident and it became essential. Dr. Myers and Lisa are always so accommodating with my schedule and are very comforting even when I was in the worst pain.
