The Acupuncturist: Chris is a pretty fun, down to earth kind of guy. He has a very honest, caring and friendly vibe, and he's very patient, supportive and encouraging. Why I started: It was one of the best decisions I've made in a while. I was ready to quit smoking again. I've tired gum, patch, cold turkey, even both Chantix and Wellbutrin. After the third time quitting with Wellbutrin, it really started to take a toll. I didn't know what else I could do and what would be successful. I found out about Aspire Acupuncture from Dr. Penry, they're in the same office. I decided to make both appointments on the same day. My Success: I was smoking 10-12 cigarettes a day during the weekday, it was just madness on the weekend, when I started acupuncture. It only took me two visit and one week to completely walk away from smoking. I dropped down to three cigarettes a day, then one and I was done. I have never felt this solid about quitting before.
