Just to elaborate, I suffer with severe anxiety so when I worry about something, like this accident, I can fall into a dark place and it's not good. My case manager, Jacquelin, had an attitude, argued with my family and me, and the situation became so bad that she was removed from my case and I was assigned a new case manager. The biggest issue I had was with the medical providers they referred us to. Based on my experience, I would strongly recommend using your own doctor instead of one they recommend. I felt the medical bills were extremely high, including a CT scan that ended up costing over $40,000. It left me feeling like the medical costs significantly affected the outcome of my settlement. I was seriously injured in the accident, yet the initial settlement offer for me was almost the same as what they offered my daughter, despite the difference in our injuries. I had to fight to receive what I believed was a fair amount. It also felt like my case did not receive the attention it deserved because the firm was handling so many other cases. Overall, I was left frustrated with the communication, the professionalism, and the way my case was handled. My advice is to ask questions, review every bill carefully, and consider using your own medical providers instead of relying solely on referrals.
