I've used Doug's services a few times now and found each encounter to be quick, efficient, and affordable. He charges $15 per notarized signature and a reasonable travel fee ($25 within San Leandro). When I'm able I just stop by his location and get my notary done without having to pay travel. He's usually even able to accommodate me the same day which I appreciate. He's also experienced with providing notary service at hospitals without added surcharge. I definitely recommend his services. It costs the same as UPS but you support a small business! read more

Doug is legit. I first went to the UPS Store who were busy and processing the Amazon returns but no Notary. I decided to go to my local bank and was told no availability til 2 weeks! Remembered Yelp and low and behold, it did not disappoint. Called Doug before going to a school ceremony to make sure he was available afterwards. The ceremony ended sooner and call him in which he was ready. Confirmed the directions and 4 mins I was there. Doug greeted me and I handed him a stack of forms that I need Notarized. Doug is a VERY cool guy...he and his notary services are flexible, accommodating and reasonably priced. Last week, I scheduled to meet Doug at my office in Berkeley; to get an insurance signature form notarized. I shared with Doug that I had only 10 minutes between clients, so we might need to rush a bit. Doug appeared at my office on time (a little early, actually) with his notary equipment and a smile...the entire transaction took 6 minutes and it was totally painless... After Doug left my office, I realized that I had notarized the wrong form....i promptly reached out again to Doug, who agreed to return the very next day. This time, I left Doug waiting outside (he did not have the door access code) and he patiently waited until he realized that I was unavoidably occupied and would not come out to greet him...I immediately contacted Doug, who agreed to return only two hours later...this time, I was ready and it took a total of (you guessed it) 6 minutes! Doug expressed his regret about me having the wrong form notarized and he offered a discount for the second time he had to come out.
