I noticed Eileen's business card and her last name was Tarrell. I asked her if she was the owner and she gladly said yes. We sat down while she was helping me and the ambiance was very personal. She talked about starting this business from scratch after her last job. She originally intended to work this job as a part time job for fun but due to how well it was going, it ended up becoming a lot bigger than maybe she intended it to be? It's amazing to hear her story and how resourceful she was. She chose to advertise through yelp because it was free, she chose to use her name in the business name because it helped avoid a specific issue, she bought the finger printing machine for cheaper from a previous job connection, etc. It was fascinating hearing her talk about her business. Her eyes glow up talking about it and you can tell she's very sharp and business minded. I originally came here because I heard the finger printing process was fast and it was. Her husband knew all the techniques like using lotion to help get a better print. Or also fun interesting facts like if you wash your hands too much it could cause a faulty finger print and you have to return later when you wash your hands less which comes often from nursing jobs and such. Eileen was such an interesting individual, I did not expect to come out learning valuable lessons. She's a people's person and she's very good at customer service but she also uses that because she's genuinely curious about other customers. She learns a lot herself from talking to other people who swing by and she passes on a lot of the wisdom. The most inspiring lesson or value she was talking to me was how she told me to follow my passion but to do it in a resourceful or creative way. She told me that you can be a professional baseball player but maybe that does not work out. If you're still passionate about baseball, you can find jobs around baseball you just have to look, explore, and be creative. So then when we figure out how to monetize our passions, we don't have to work a day in our life. Maybe this is simple common sense and that its something very hard to do, but I think it made more of an impact to me because of how resourceful, clever, and creative Eileen was in starting a business. I'm sure with her mind she knows how to think out of the box sometimes if your passion doesn't have a standard track or high demand or high profit and she'll make it work. You'll notice Eileen is very sharp for a reason because she's simply curious. She showed me her ipad that she always carries around in case her phone dies, because she's always googling information of why this why that. She talked about always asking why and thinking about why. You can tell with her mindset she would've been successful in anything she wanted to do. She was already successful before she started the business and is very inspiring. I would not have expected to get such personal and enlightening conversation from fingerprinting. I've had fingerprinting experience take forever because they can't get the finger print dark enough but they were fast in the process and also fast in sending it out . Eileen was able to give me a price for what I needed and also book an appointment for me. I went inside there for fingerprint. There is an old gentleman. He's so respectful and a good person. Actually there is somebody exist in the shop that you can talk to, but there is another lady who is actually doing the fingerprint as she said that she's been doing the business for a long time, but she's so disrespectful and she don't know how to treat a customer good and the way she behave is not appropriate at all.
