According to my wife, this employee has been at this location for a while and this mistreatment has been occurring for a while now. This employee sometimes confides in my wife and tells her that she's written up for the most minute and minuscule things. Recently my wife has explained to me that the black employee is on her written final warning for not "nodding" her head in a meeting. I can't believe that Children's Hospital Colorado will allow this to happen to a staff member. Children's Hospital is a great place for children and their families, I am a parent who has children that are seen in various clinics there at childrens. As a customer I would expect this company to treat its employees with respect, trust and to be trusted by the people they work with , to feel job security, and to have opportunities to use their skills and abilities in their workplace. This obvious display is not a way a company would maintain staff morale within its employees. It is important to treat the employees of all racial groups fairly. My wife is afraid to speak up about this because of the harassment and retaliation that can follow. But for a "team leader" to immorally and personally attack an employee consistently and no higher-ups to recognize this is a disgrace to the organization, to allow microaggressions within an organization that cares for children would make me concerned for the care that patients are subjected to be around. I'm not sure if this is a race issue or just simple bullying but I feel that this issue should be addressed respectfully for the sake of the patients and the staff.

He's beginning to overcome textural hang ups, pickiness, chewing/swallowing struggles, etc. We still aren't there, but we are getting closer to being a better, more well rounded eater. We are pleased with the therapy itself but the front desk here sucks. There's almost never anyone here and frankly they've been downright rude to me when I've had questions in the past. One of the girls even hung up on my husband when I asked her if she would be willing to talk to him so he could explain some insurance/scheduling issues with her. He was very respectful but she simply didn't want to listen or deal with the issue. Zero class! We aren't demanding or unreasonable people at all so that type of rudeness is completely unacceptable. I wish they would invest more in finding good office staff that can be present there during regular office hours and can deal with issues appropriately and respectfully.
