Both instructors were patient and made sure that each student had an equal amount of practice, guidance and support. I enjoyed the day way more than I ever thought I would. Will definitely take other classes with them.

We learned that his guns are right above wholesale prices. You start with a speech about why you should buy from him. I'd say 80% of the actual class is him pushing his tactical master classes, and then you end with a speech about buying those and how "worth it" they are. If they're anything like this class, I can assure you, they are not worth it. He tries to convince you they are by telling you gun ranges are a complete and total waste of time. All the 5 star reviews look great... until you realize he bribed us to do them. You get store credit for leaving a 5 star review. (A significant amount of store credit). I did not take that opportunity because 1) I knew I wasn't going back there and 2) I wanted to leave an honest review. They do have a good warranty on their guns, (provided they actually honor it, but I don't, and won't, know). The short of it is I left that class knowing nothing. I am so grateful for a gun runners class I took 6 years ago. I learned so much more there than I did here. If this were the only weapons class I took, I would have absolutely NO business concealing a firearm. Somebody is going to get hurt.

The main reason is because I wanted to…read moremaintain a good repore with the LGS because I was new to getting back into firearms and I had never purchased at the time in Florida before because I am from New Hampshire so the process in the beginning was a little intimidating to me but let me tell you something about GT Distributors I havent forgotten and has left a bad taste in my mouth for many months. I go into GT Distributors November 2024 and I purchase a Sig P365 X-Macro. I wait the 3 days i pick up smooth process. So, I go on buds gun shop and I order an AR Pistol next and send it to GT Distributors who I asked prior to sending it if it was ok and they said yes. Okay now here is where it gets messed up. My order arrived but I was a little nervous because Buds gunshop used an old phone number and address on the piece of paper they put in the box even though I changed all of it (because i moved) to the correct stuff before ordering. So, I didnt think it would be a big deal I called GT Distributors once I saw it was delivered. The woman on the phone says to me "Sir, you're solid. Just go in if no one has called you yet. We charge 25 dollars to expedite putting your firearm in the system and you can literally just come in when you see it delivered pay 25 for the expedite and then the FFL transfer fee and we will get you squared away" I go in and im told something completely different and im made aware that Orange Park GT Distributors doesnt answer their own phones its some person in like Kentucky or something. So, instead of being difficult I left and waited until like 7pm and I called the number back so I could give GT Distributors customer service a hard time because I was a bit pissed i wasted and hour of my time and gas for nothing but i was in no way upset with orange park facility. The woman put me on hold and I guess called orange park and she talked to i forget his name but hes a manager white hair white beard kind salt and pepper and a little shorter but a complete asshole. She gets back on the phone and says "Sir, You're all set you can go in tomorrow and pick up your firearm" I asked her if i would be good because i didnt want to have a bad repore and i wasnt upset with orange park and she says "Our job is to sell firearms and transfers no one is upset with you for calling" So, I am like oh heck yeah this is going to be easier than i thought. I go in the next day NOW that guy I mentioned before he Starts SCREAMING at me infront of customers threatening to return my firearm and telling me he doesnt care what the people on the phone said. He also tried saying the lady on the phone said i was running my mouth and then i told him i dont understand why youre yelling at me infront of customers and we can call her right now and if i wanted to be actually difficult with you i would of called them from the parkinglot when you turned me away the day prior for the miscommunication of information. He chilled out and then let me do my FFL stuff but my point being is this place gives me anxiety. I tell EVERY single person from on target sports to basics gun and range all their employees and members i meet about that experience with GT Distributors and its wild because everyone always knows who im talking about. I wana say the dudes name was Mark but dont hold me to it. People also say when i mention what happend that if you arent a LEO they pretty much dont want your business. I am a COMBAT Veteran 10th Mountain Division and did 1 combat deployment and 1 gucci deployment i say that to say F OFFF!!!! Ill never shop there and im going to run my mouth to every single person i meet about your location. I think what could fix it is retraining the manager because no matter what the customer is always right and he is from a generation that should understand that. I think they also need to be the ones answering their own phones. Everyone else there seemed really cool and the person who checked me out after cock boy yelled at me was really cool. I want to say the managers name was Mark so if it were me id avoid them. They have good stock but On Target Sports is right down the road from them and have a bigger selection and are super cool and Basics Guns & Range will start your 3 day wait from the day you made your order on buds gun shop and not from the day you finally get to go in and do the paperwork. Both better more stand up organizations that GT Distributors!

Water parks near me in the Philly area are usually huge, with major traffic, and thereby annoying…read moreand gross! I was so relieved to find Summer Waves offers a smaller, cleaner, more-personal, less-dangerous water park experience. We found it to be exactly that. Though Jekyll is close to a tropical climate, the water park is only open in warmer months (May-Sept). Inclement weather is an issue in their part of the country at that time of year. At least a month of the time Summer Waves is open is hurricane season. There are clear rain policy rules, which kinda stink but are for everyone's safety. One day we called to verify they were open only to show up TEN MINUTES LATER and be turned away at the gate due to thunderstorms. Luckily we were staying 5min away but can you imagine driving farther? And paying $10 island toll for that? The next day weather was great and my husband and son had a ball. They'd planned to stay 2 hours but lasted 6! My 7yo was a little intimidated by the enclosed taller slides but he got over it after trying them and they covered every attraction in the park except the baby/toddler stuff. They did the lazy river over and over! I saw pictures/reviews of the traffic and chaos in July, wow! Go in late August (when local kids are back to school and the park is only open weekends) and it's perfect! They waited 5min at most, and that happened once. It was just step up and go! It's not huge but it's up-to-date, clean, uncrowded at the right times, and very reasonably priced under $30pp. No bugs (Jekyll has a huge dragonfly population to rid pesty bugs), good breeze on most days. Make sure to reapply sunscreen. My son got burnt for the first time in his life despite full application of spf 25 (which kept him white as a sheet for weeks prior on Jekyll's beaches), but the park uses salt water and is very exposed to the sun so take heed. All in all a great experience!

I drove the big bus for the school for this event today. I didn't take any photos of the park due to the kids; wouldn't be appropriate! The lazy river is short but nice. The season pass options seemed decent. Food inside is rather overpriced and food allergies can't be accommodated. That said, plenty of chair to choose from, if you're willing to cross the lazy river by foot you can set up your things in the middle of the lazy river and enjoy a bit quieter of an area. Nice splash area for kids with a dunking water bucket. Would go again

First off, the free parking deserves its own standing ovation. Pull in, park, no stress, no drama, no circling like you are hunting for buried treasure. That alone already put everyone in a good mood. But the real star of the day was the ocean. The Atlantic Ocean was doing its thing like it always does, loud, endless, and a little dramatic in the best way. The waves would roll in all calm and pretty, and then suddenly act like they had something to prove when they hit the shore. My family spent half the time just watching the water like it was a live show we all agreed to attend. The kids were running in and out of the surf like the ocean was a game level they were trying to beat. Meanwhile the adults were pretending to be chill but really just trying not to get knocked over by surprise waves or lose a sandal to the sea forever. There was something about standing there with salt air, wind blowing, and that huge stretch of ocean in front of us that made everything feel simple in the best way. No schedules, no rush, just waves, laughs, and somebody always saying "don't go too far!" We ate, we laughed, we got sandy in places we will not discuss in public, and we loved every minute of it. Five stars. Great KY family day, perfect Atlantic Ocean views, and free parking that should honestly be illegal for how convenient it was.

The water looks dark blue from afar when the sky is very cerulean blue but it's murky when you are inside the water. You literally cannot see your own hands when you're inside the water. The water looks black when it's overcast. The boardwalk is not full and or very long. Also, there are lots of homeless people living under the fishing pier. I was on the 5th floor of the beach front hotel when I witnessed a brawl between some of them. A group of homeless were kicking out a homeless man and woman because they had gone to their "terf" and complained about the bags of feces. And the group of homeless kicked them out and said that it was their "terf" and threw fist up and followed them all the way to the boardwalk and made sure that they left their "terf." They were ready to go to blows. This problem has been for many years; I remember coming when I was a little kid and the homeless making a ruckus about people going under the pier or using the pier for shade. Also, the homeless take a bath in the public fresh water showers and it's disturbing. I saw two of them bathing with the shower and they were using paper as a scrub and leaving the papers there; it's disgusting. What I didn't see at the boardwalk and beach was a police presence. Also, the homeless walk the beach the whole night with flashlights and in mass. In my opinion it's dangerous for tourist, especially for women to walk in the dark of the night in this public space. I would have loved to take a night stroll by the beach shore but I opted out of that after seeing these homeless men walking up and down the beach shore all night.

Great waterfront access & there is a pool. A climbing tower! I didn't explore too much- there was a leader training I was popping in to show my support for a friend who was teaching the course. She was set up in campsite 8 and unfortunately the campsites need some serious maintenance- poison ivy is overgrown in most of the sites! Fire pits have not been raked and cleaned. In my old council, our Order of the Arrow helped the Camp Rangers every year to clean up and do service around the camps. I have no idea if that is done here, but it needs some tlc. I can't wait to see more of this camp!

It has a sparling blue pool that is next to the beautiful waterfront area and dock. I saw a a chery area and even a climbing wall. The place was well kept up and the restrooms were clean. My daughter has improved so much with her tumbling because the coaches are giving critiques and assisting her over and over again to help her complete a stunt correctly. The atmosphere is great, the gym is clean and everyone seems to love what they do. Any interactions I've had with coaches wether after practice or at the desk has been very friendly and helpful. We hope to continue at this facility for years to come!!

I will never go to On Target Gun Range ever again because their range officers are misogynistic old men who think they are doing such a good job in teaching little girls on how to shoot, that they go above and beyond on making women feel lower than dirt. I have owned a firearm for over 10 years, my first being a .40 cal, I have since downsized to a .380, I am an NRA member, and have my concealed carry permit. I have been to other gun ranges before. I have my pink eye and ear protection, dress fashionably, but know better than to wear a low cut shirt, I rock my high end purses, with my zebra print range bag. When I go to other ranges, men with girls and young women who are afraid to shoot have pointed to me as an example. At first it was embarrassing, then it became empowering. Once other women saw how comfortable I was with my firearm, they became empowered to attempt to exercise their Second Amendment rights. The first range officer, George, didn't like the way I was holding my fire arm. He stood over my shoulder watching me like I was a child, obviously this got irritating after a while and I was going to let my roomie shoot (since they insisted that we share a lane, when I wanted my own). While outside, another range officer approached me and asked what was wrong and actually asked me if it was too loud for me in the range. I told him I didn't appreciate being treated like a moron by George. Somehow in his misogynistic mind, this translated into I don't know what I'm doing and I was in desperate need of his help. I spent the rest of my time at On Target with the second range officer, I think his name was Charles, "teaching" me how to hold my weapon, how to fire it, he wouldn't let me move the target more than 3 yards away, and belittling me nearly to the point of tears. You try shooting when you have someone in your face going "squeeze, squeeze the trigger". How about I will pull my damn trigger when I'm good and ready to pull it? I bought my latest firearm about a year ago, but between work and the biomedical science degree I'm working on, I haven't really broken the gun in yet. Charles noticed how new it was, probably assumed it was my first gun, and kept oiling the crap out of it to the point where it's filthy now. In one breath he was telling me that I need to break my gun in (to which I thought, why in the hell do you think I'm here?), then insisted that I shoot the roomie's (who he kept calling my husband) .22 because I cannot handle my firearm. It's MY GUN. I bought it and I want to shoot it. At one point I was trying to explain to Charles that I wanted to see how my laser compared to the hard sites on my gun because my father had a stroke over the summer, which resulted in a massive vision loss and for his sake, I wanted to see how the hard sites compared to the laser. Of course, this also translated into Charles' misogynistic mind to: the poor little girl can't aim, so she wants to use the laser. I can aim! I can shoot my fire arm! I have been to other ranges, and never hit the ceiling or the floor. I can hit the target, at a further distance than 3 yards. A few weeks ago, I hit a soda can on the ground with an airsoft gun from about 7 yards away in the dark. Quit treating me like I'm a moron! I know and understand why one would put a laser onto their firearm, which is one of the reasons I got mine: it's a tool on your weapon, not the primary source of aiming. While going into load the magazines for the .22, I scratched my thumb on something in the bag, and the range officer was sure I wasn't holding my weapon properly. He promptly provided me with a bandage, which was sweet, but there is no possible way it came from the firearm. It had been minutes since I had discharged a weapon and it's not possible that it could have been afflicted by the slide. I have photo documentation to prove it. This would be a great range for a first time shooter, male or female. If you are a woman, and a fairly prolific shooter, I would never go to this place. read more

ATTENTION DISABLED RETIRED VETERANS- YOU ARE NOT WELCOME HERE-Please don't get me wrong on this review, my husband and I both served in the military and we both make well over 200K, its the principle, they offer military discount for active duty and retired, I was refused because my ID was a dependent ID, which is fine but my husband is a medically disabled Retired Veteran- paid the ultimate sacrifice for his country and was refused the "discount" as well, but like I said, its not the cash, the facilities are nice, the Eagles fan at the counter offered the explanation, if we gave to all military we would be giving too much discounts, basic economics would have dictated to this young man that you would lose a little but gain more- that is why discounts are offered, to incite new business and bring back repeat customers, we might have made this our place to go as we were exploring but we will not, we might have told many of our friends-word of mouth marketing is the best form or marketing but we will not, if this is a normal occurrence at this facility the owners might be losing unnecessary repeat business. SO do you think I just pulled this deal out of my butt? The idea came from your end. Your staff honored it the first time I showed up to do business. I understand you chastised the clerk. He was simply following the direction he was given by one of your managers. I witnessed him going to the manager for approval. This could have been easily written off as a misunderstanding. Happens all the time.. But your mgr called me a liar. He threatened to call Derek. I called his bluff and insisted I wanted to speak to the real manager but he refused to make the call. I couldn't have made this up if I wanted to as I have had very little experience with the FFL paperwork. It's not about the money. I wont miss it, apparently your managers thinks you need it more. A business that calls its customer a LIAR? Really.. Many things I have been called and some deservedly, but not a liar. I have no choice but to do a couple of more transactions with you, as they have been ordered and put into the pipeline back and are already on their way. While I have never set foot in this establishment, my money will never touch their cash register. While my brother a corpsman who is serving overseas will be on TDY in Jax for a few days reached out to see if there was a firearm rental policy so that he may enjoy the liberties he is fighting for. He was instructed he would have to handover a firearm of his own before he could use one of theirs. Something like this I would expect from California but not a 2nd Amendment establishment which is in conservative North Florida. He was also instructed it was part of a suicide policy on why this collateral had to occur. Excuse me?!? Where is the threat and risk when someone already has to have a firearm of their own before they can use theirs. An establishment in a city with two military installations and this is how they treat the men and women who are serving overseas and are already away from home. Pretty poor policies in place with this establishment. One thing about policies is they are guidelines to ensure safety and so is common sense and respect to those who enter to spend their hard earned money and are trying to exercise their second amendment rights. read more

I like the store and the range. I recently had an issue with an order I made and I almost swore off this place forever. Dealing with the manager Kenny was an unpleasant experience. As a customer I do not care who you try to pass the blame onto. If you are the manager take some ownership and be professional. If you say you are going to call someone back, than for god's sake call them back. Do not wait for them to show up in your store and act like it's no big deal. When my rifle finally came in 5 business days past due I went in to get it ready to go off on him. Fortunately Becca was the one who helped me with assistance from Scott. Both of them were very friendly and helpful. The owner even came out and apologized about the delay. I am not an unreasonable person. As a customer I feel I shouldn't be treated like I'm at fault for buying your merchandise. To sum up what I feel about OTS, the facility is nice. The employees are great. Thank for looking after this British shooter and his wife who simply wanted the opportunity to try a number of different types of pistol but armed only with a rather basic shooting skills set, honed entirely on using air weapons here in the UK over the last year. In three visits to your range I managed to explore the Glock 17, the Sig P226 and in the last visit using 45 ACP in a Springfield 1911 and a Glock 21. Your staff love enthusiasm and can spot it a mile away and Charlie and David both helped in any way they could which made the experience rich and really worth while. To say I had fun wouldn't quite capture it - but it is only with the generosity of America and the enshrined and far seeing 2nd Amendment that this UK citizen got a chance to break just about every UK firearms law on our statute book in the safety and comfort of a rather more sensible democracy... and I can't tell you how good that felt. I will definitely be visiting you guys the next time I pop over to the USA. Thank you so much. read more

Man, do I disagree with Troy S! My wife and I recently went to On Target Sports and it was probably the best shooting experience I've ever had. I grew up shooting Jax and have shot at every range around here (and many across the country), and I have to say that OTS is BY FAR the nicest, cleanest and definitely most modern range I've ever seen. Their computer target systems let you shoot realistic 'shoot or don't shoot' situations - never seen anything like it. The staff and range officers were super friendly and helpful. So many ranges don't have any safety personnel and the guys at OTS made us all feel not only welcome, but also safe. And I was amazed to learn that ALL of their shooting lanes can handle hi powered rifles. No other indoor range in Jax allows that. The facility itself is just awesome (my wife said the bathrooms looked like what you'd find at an upscale restaurant) and the people couldn't be nicer. I am one who has never held or shot a gun. I took the basics class and the instructor (Jeff) was really great. The facility was clean and everyone was welcoming and friendly. I can't compare it to any others since it was my first one, but I felt safe and comfortable. Jeff was very informative and even though I started out jumpy and shaking, by the end of the class I was shooting and even hitting the middle of the target! I plan to take more classes and practice and even saw they have a ladies night, which I will try. I want to take the time to tell you about Scott at On Target Sports in Orange Park Florida. He's so professional and represents the company well. He has gone over and above for me, I'm in the battle of my life for health and he is caring and compassionate. This is a very honest business, my reviews never come lightly. Took my daughter yesterday. Her first time shooting. She'd been begging me to take her. Staff was great from the guys checking us in to the range master. I'm not 'Mr. Gun' and invited the range master to step in and guide my daughter if he saw the need. He did, lol. He was very helpful to her and I learned from him too. Before we went I filled out all the forms from the website and familiarized myself with their rules. Check in was easy and quick. We had a great time. My daughter loved it! This is a really great range and store. Everyone there is friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. The range officers are extremely helpful and interested in your safety as well as ensuring you get the best possible shooting experience. Wayland was especially helpful in explaining the differences in weapons we tried and Travis made the purchase experience painless. Great people, great place! I will be a regular there. read more

I took a C&C firearm course at OTS this past weekend. The material covered in the class was thorough, and the instructor "Douglas Pelsang" is highly qualified to teach this course, is very knowledgeable, professional and provided clear instructions. Great place, the RSOs are really personable and fun to talk to. Lots of firearms for rent if you don't have your own or want to try something out before buying. $250 I believe for a year membership which is a pretty good deal if you shoot often. read more

It was fun to come into a highly reputable firearms outfit and learn about what I had missed for a large number of years. Pretty much everyone knows the big names, like Glock, S&W, Sig Sauer, Colt, etc. But there are a ton of new kids on the block that really catch the eye and look very tempting to want to own. Well, for a day, I wanted to look at something new and see how this world of firearms appears today. I have to say, Gun Gallery appears to have everything right and what you need if you desire to purchase arms and a place for target practice. As a store visitor, I was highly grateful for the time the GG Rep took to assist me with my questions and allowing me to hold a few pieces. This was much appreciated and certainly inclined me to desire to visit the store again in the future if I wish to purchase a firearm here. In the meantime, I can say they have a large array of pistols to choose from. I had to revert to my love of 007 movies and see they had a Walther PPK (what James Bond made famous). Oh my! They did! It felt good to hold for one a moment of time in my life! On another note: there are rifles here as well, along with AR-15s. Most of the rifles are in a different area near the target practice area. This is an impressive full service gun shop. They assist you with registration during your purchases and offer both personal and classroom training that enthusiasts can choose from. It also has a training class that will lead to a permit to carry as well. They do offer weapons for testing to help customers choose the best pistols or rifles for themselves. It would be difficult to hear of anyone leaving here unhappy. The Gun Gallery crew is really all about their customers and offering their best efforts toward them. Recommend: VERY HIGH

There 's lots of paper target configurations to choose from. There's cleaning supplies, ammo holders, boxes of ammunition, and even water bottles for sale. You can't bring any liquids in the range for safety reasons, preventing slip and falls. Don't forget to empty your firearms before you come in because you will be added to the bucket of shame. Safety FIRST! The range is nice for an indoor environment. Lots of fans to help ventilation of gun smoke. You will need to be aware some gun residue will be in your nose later! There's a fair amount of lanes and there are some busier times than others. They do offer training, memberships, and backgrounds checks for purchasing firearms. The staff is very cool, calm, and professional. I like that there's a good decorum and respect in the atmosphere. I have not experienced any braggadocio or false bravado nor Beavis and Butt-Head. Respect to the team here! Good range time, hearing and eye protection available, and quality products. We were able to shoot both rifle and pistol. I took a friend for a range session. I used the gift certificate to pay for both of our range charges. There was a balance of approximately $48.00 on the gift certificate. I was handed a St Nicholas-branded receipt with the remaining balance handwritten. I stuffed the receipt in my gun bag. Years pass. While cleaning out my gun bag one day, I found the gift certificate receipt with the outstanding balance. Returned today for another range session. Pulled out the gift certificate balance, here again with no expiration date, to pay, and was told that it would not be honored. The reason? There was a new owner. Admittedly, it had been a while since I had used the gift certificate. Still, regardless of time, the money had been paid to St Nicholas Gun and Sporting Goods. Take this experience as a cautionary tale that may or may not influence any future business you might consider doing with St Nicholas Gun and Sporting Goods.

As a loyal member for the past 2 years, I will seriously think twice before renewing my membership…read morenext year. In fact, two of my friends have already decided not to renew theirs. There is an older gentleman in management who seems completely unhappy and shows zero hospitality or appreciation toward loyal members. The overall staff seems to have changed a lot recently too, and honestly, I can understand why they wouldn't want to stay in that kind of work environment. Even with a membership, the club has become overcrowded, oversaturated, and disorganized. It's clear this stems from management not valuing the loyal members who invest in the facility. I will be looking for another club--even if it's a bit further away--that can offer a much better experience and atmosphere. Disappointing.
