Even though there have been many unwanted price increases and changes made on the corporate level to everyone's policies that are not so positive, I stayed with Farmers honestly because of my agent, Bryce Peterson. He initially worked as supporting office staff under an agent named Gary Gerber who recently retired, but whenever I would call or email, 90% of the time I dealt directly with Bryce and was never disappointed, as it felt as though he went above and beyond in everything that he did for me. I must give a positive shout out to Scott Caraveo's entire Farmers offices and his agents and staff. There were two fires reported in the local news today, one in the College area which resulted in evacuations, and the second one in Spring Valley, and even though I live in Spring Valley, I wasn't even aware that there was a fire until Bryce sent me a message via text and then called me. Thus my positive shout out is due to my agent Bryce, calling me to ask if we were OK since there was a fire reported near my area. During our telephone conversation, Bryce also informed me that multiple calls went out to all of the farmers insurance clients, and that it was one of his fellow agents that informed him of the fires that their clients were potentially in the line of, and that they were taking steps to make contact to ensure that everyone was safe and aware of the fires. Who does that? That's freaking awesome, so a big shout out and thanks to Scott Caraveo and his crew.

Absolutely evil. A…read morewater-filled pothole that opened during heavy rain in the Malibu mountains, right in the middle of a one-lane road, is now somehow the driver's fault? No, it's not--unless the insurance company misrepresents what happened by reporting that my husband simply drove his car into a deep hole. I just discovered that my new vehicle insurance is going up almost $200 because of how this incident was reported. My current insurance company told me that if it had been reported as pothole damage, my rate wouldn't be going up. But because of the way Wawanesa reported it, I'm now paying for this and will stay in my records for years. Stay away from both Wawanesa car and home insurance. I hope whoever made the decision to report it this way realizes one day how much their actions can affect people's lives. I hope she has many sleepless nights over it, because if she can sleep well knowing what she did, it only shows how evil she truly is.
