Exterior door replacement on my 95 year old home. The blue of course is the before. Old wood door that suffered from water damage due to rain penetration. Fritz gave me the best options after coming out and taking a look at it. Not only was he thorough, but he thought of the best and most cost efficient way to replace the door. He also installed a PVC extended trim/lip to reduce the elements penetrating the new door and suggested a brand of paint that works best. I highly recommend Fritz! Fritz is a wonderful all-around handyman. We have used him for two separate jobs and his work is impeccable. His knowledge for what to use and how to apply it for endurance as well as appearance is invaluable and makes his services an incredible value. As an added plus, he is low key, works with you and your concerns and is completely self-sufficient. How do you not love that? We had an open air structure that hadn't been built properly. It was open to the elements and covered in cracked parging that had crumbled over the years. Fritz created outlets for drainage and came up with a cost effective way to cover up the unsightly cracking while at the same time creating a water-proof barrier. There were a number of other equally important details he attended to, so nothing escapes his attention and it's clear he thinks through each problem to guard against future issues. In short, he's as thorough as you would be if you had the know-how and the can-do. But few of us are and, even if you were, you might not be as methodical. I couldn't recommend Fritz more. read more

I found Fritz on Yelp when I was searching for some chimney work and saw that he could do many things, so decided to ask him about a bunch of home repairs on my list. I send him the items to do or consider, with accompanying pictures. I had a previous estimate from a chimney cleaning company who had recommended some expensive waterproofing in addition to the chimney cap repair and after inspection, Fritz said that since there was no evidence of water intrusion or efflorescence in this decades old chimney, so the waterproofing was not necessary. He then spent two days working on all my projects - masonry work on the chimney cap, fixing the double hung window that would not stay up, secured two shaky railings, impeccable ceiling drywall repair on some water damage that had come from the bathroom above, and figured out why my ceiling fan did not work. He also replaced old light switches for me with the modern decora style switches. He is a good problem solver, and worked solidly while he was here without taking a break for lunch. I appreciated that he put up a dust containment wall around the drywall repair area to protect the rest of the house. He will tell you straight out what he cannot do which is also good. I would definitely hire him again as a "can-do" and trusted handyman. read more

We've had a ceiling leak that we thought was coming from our roof, but it was actually from our chimney. I contacted Fritz and set up an appointment to check out the issue right away. He was able to assess the damage and offer solutions (powerwashing the chimney to look all new, sealing the crown, tuckpointing the brick, parging the lintel in the fireplace, and cleaning the chimney) and provided a fair estimate on the spot. He even came out a few days later and completed the job beautifully in about 6 hours straight. Fritz is super friendly, knowledgeable, trustworthy, efficient, cleans up after his work, affordable, and prompt! Wish I could give him 6 stars! I highly recommend him. read more

Fritz was amazing. I emailed him late last night and he responded with in minutes. He was able to come the next day and was even early!!! My chimney was smoking in the house so fritz inspected it. It was pretty clean but he dig deeper into the issue and found the root cause of it. Wanted to replace the 25+ year old lattice under porch with white vinyl. I included pictures when I requested a quote. Fritz was quick to respond. We talked on the phone so he had a good understanding of the project. I wanted a certain type of lattice and a new door. He adjusted his quote and we agreed on the price. I am a property manager and Fritz did an amazing job on one of my properties mailboxes that had been hit by a car and was in need of replacement. He was so courteous and charged me a reasonable price for the job. I was having a hard time finding someone who would replace the mailbox at a fair price. They wanted to charge me a super high price to put the broken mailbox back in the ground and still charge me extra for concrete or any other parts they had to use. Seriously!!! Thank goodness I found Fritiz. I read his reviews and they did not lie. Fritz went out to the property and took pictures of the mailbox and told me exactly what needed to be done. Fritz was also able to give me the estimate and do the work all in the same day. He replaced the entire mailbox and sent me pictures of the completed job and took measurements to show the mailbox met the USPS height requirement. I have had a few tattoos done at Rick's. All by artists who are already gone now. One was awful. Had to have it covered. However, I had the absolute best experience this past weekend and got a wonderful tattoo that I am very pleased with. Tara was my artist. She took the time to listen to my idea and then drew it up. I got to come by and see it a week before my appointment to approve it and she ended up having an opening for the next day so she offered it to me. I was psyched because she is very good so she is very busy and it sped up my wait time. The drawing was just what I wanted and the tattoo turned out better than I had hoped. She was very personable and talked with me throughout the application of my tat. I couldn't be happier. I won't go to any other artist again if I get another tattoo. I 100% recommend her!
