We met with the owner of the company who gave us a reasonable quote (we contacted other companies for quotes) and as it was off season they said they could get the job done quickly. I ignored the red flags that started to pop up when he asked me to make the check out to him (owner) rather than the business. Red flag number two...He offered addition discounts if I would pay in full. He started the job promptly. He did not follow instructions and survey markers I pointed out to him and he built the driveway on common land. That created a problem for me. He had to rip out the work done on common land. He walked off the job. It took me over a month of phone calls and letters threatening legal action to get him back to correct the problem and finish the job. Once completed, the job looked great; however, I was left wishing I had never hired him. But the story does not end there....about a week after completing the job the company owner showed up at my house about 7:30 PM at night demanding additional money to cover the additional work he had to do to correct the mistake he made by building the driveway on common land. He became very angry when we told him no. I pointed out that he had survey markers showing him where my boundary line was and he ignored them. I just could not give him a positive review no matter how nice his office help was.

It finally died last fall and was becoming a danger. I requested quotes from multiple Tree Service companies. Luckily one was Bayside Tree and Beth was quick to respond to my inquiry, Cody came over to assess the situation and quoted a Very reasonable cost to remove the tree and another Oak on my property line that suffered the same fate. Although there was no rush, within a week he and his crew of professionals fit me into their very busy schedule and took care of removing the poor trees with precision!
