A great bus company to rent from. His prices are reasonable and his staff are professional.

This is the worst company to use for a charter bus service. My daughter and her girls scout troop and the other parents lives were in danger. Halfway back from their drive back from Alabama they had pulled off in Nashville with transmission trouble. The driver was directed by dispatch/owner to just keep driving till the red light comes on. At the request of a knowledgeable parent she said we should at least check all the fluids. The driver said there was no need to do that they checked before we left. After looking at the fluids it was found out that there was no transmission fluid it was bone dry and the dip stick was so corroded and dried out that it broke in half. The bus then proceeded and made it into Kentucky when they had to pull over again. The auto place said I can't believe the company would tell y'all to keep going it is unsafe especially with all these children. At this stop they filled transmission fluid and put a new dipstick in. The bus continued and it seemed to run ok for maybe an hour and then started doing the same things as before chugging. Smelling like smoke etc. The bus at this point was only able to go 30 on the highway which is 70. This is highly illegal and dangerous and the bus driver was informed this was not safe and they should pull off. The driver didn't even respond to this parent and ignored her. At this point at almost 8 months pregnant I started to drive from Michigan to Kentucky not wanting my child on this death trap any longer. Finally another parent had to call 911 to get a police officer there to stop them from continuing fearing for their lives. The 2 police officers talked to the owner and the owners plan was to leave them stranded at the gas station for 6 hours until a different bus could get there. The officers had to tell him it was child endangerment and even with law enforcement telling him that he initially denied it. Thankfully these police officers talked some sense into him and said you need to do the right thing and put them up in a hotel until the bus arrives (as this was about 10pm). The bus finally arrived to the hotel they were at around 7 am and they made it home. The first and second bus they were on were both gross, the wifi barely worked, the plugs on half the side of the bus didn't work and they were told that no one could go number 2 in the bathroom. I called and left 2 messages and asked for a call back in regards to this incident and I still haven't received an explanation for why they put everyone's life in danger. I can't believe that this happened and a bus would conduct themselves in this fashion. Very unprofessional and highly disappointing!!! read more

I was driving on Rock Creek Parkway in Washington, DC today and a bus from this company almost crushed my car. The driver attempted to make a sharp right turn off the Parkway, near the Kennedy Center, stopping traffic behind the bus. I was the car directly behind the bus. With nowhere for me to go on a crowded and narrow two-lane Parkway, the driver realized they had attempted an impossible turn. Rather than call the Park Police for help, wait for traffic to pass, or get out to assess the situation, the bus driver decided to immediately back up back into the the Parkway -- towards my stopped car. I immediately leaned on the horn, and yet the bus didn't pause. It kept backing up, putting my car out of the driver's view, and yet it kept getting closer even as I kept hitting the horn (at this point maybe 2 inches from my small car's front bumper). My passenger and I prepared to bail out of the car before we would get hit. The car behind me backed away a bit at the last possible second, and the On the Move bus overtook my prior position. Meaning, I would have had a crushed had the car behind me not moved at that instant. I think the people behind me saw what was going to happen and started creating space. The bus lurched left back into the Parkway traffic, nearly hitting a couple other cars getting by in the travel lane. It was early on a clear and sunny evening on a well-marked road -- why the rush, the ridiculous turn attempt and erratic driving? It is incredibly reckless to back up towards a car after your view of it has been eclipsed. I don't know what kind of bus training requirements they have out in Flint, Michigan, but I wouldn't trust this company with a pizza delivery, let alone my family. read more

I cant even rate this company with 1 star. This was a traumatic experience for us. We rented a bus to take my daughter and her girl scout troop to Alabama. The bus began to shake and tremble 10 hours from home and the bus driver was told by the company owner to ignore it. There were several lights flashing on dash, as well as black smoke coming from the back. I finally convinced driver to pull over and let me look at engine. Turns out there was no transmission fluid!!! The driver then relayed the message to owner and the owner said to ignore and and that it was fine. Not only putting my life in danger but 20 young girl scouts as well. So then we continue to drive 34 mph on highway until I yell and demand that we get off the highway. We then stopped at a truck stop where we called police to inspect bus. The police were on the phone with owner of company telling him that what he was doing was unlawful and neglectful as well as dangerous. Had to get a police escort to nearby hotel and wait 7 hours for new bus to arrive. Once the new bus came the air was broken and none of the plugs inside worked. This was the worst experience I have ever had. Do not, I repeat DO NOT use this company. read more

Extremely unprofessional. After an issue with payment at my bank, they immediately called and threatened legal action even though I made multiple attempts to make payment at different times. They are unorganized an unfamiliar with basic financial principles, I could not recommend this service less. read more

We are currently driving home from a Washington DC trip with two busses full of eighth graders and parents after having endured two vehicles with smelly, barely working bathrooms and one that became a veritable airless, moving sauna that never had a working air conditioner. While our driver Alonzo was superb, his colleague, who was perpetually lost, continuously, stubbornly, ignored efforts to help him navigate, making us extremely late for most tour stops. While we understand that "things happen", this bus was clearly sadly in disrepair well before we were subjected to it's horrors. A repairman was not sent to our hotel for 3 days and not until after repeated phone calls to the tour guide company who hired them as they appeared to be unresponsive to their own driver and to my call to the "emergency line". And oh, did I mention that we are currently driving through a rain/snow mix, at night and that we are wiping the condensation off of the window for the driver because the defrost is broken? I lost a phone on the bus, thinking it would be at the company as it said it was when I tracked it. When I called, and went there, they were unhelpful telling me nothing has been found although one of the employees had called me from it the night it was lost. I do not recommend this company, as it was unprofessional and the service was inadequate. read more

Our bus driver was very unprofessional. He did not know where we were going for our three day tour and also asked us to stop at his home to drop off money for his girlfriend. He drove us to his house in flint to do that. He then got on the highway and as we were about 5 miles down the road, proceeded to grab the garbage can behind him and throw up in it. He then refused to stop and we insisted he stop and finally he did. We asked him to get off at the next exit and he again was initially refusing. Finally he got off and stopped at the mcds on miller road. When we called the company they said he was fine, but there was no way we were letting him drive the bus any further. Finally, they were able to "find" a driver to take us to kalamazoo where we transferred to a different company. The bus was disgusting...old and no ammenities. No emergency exits if we had needed to get out if he had driver off the road into the valley. It was very scary. I would definitely not ever use this company!!!! read more

My child was booked for a high school trip with this company. The bus was over an hour late. I called the company to see what the problem was and they would not tell me anything. The person I spoke to said that "if I talked to parents all day, I would never get my job done." I asked him if I could speak to his supervisor and he said he was the supervisor. I asked him what his name was and he hung up on me. I called back and he answered the phone as "Greg". I would never recommend this charter as they are very unprofessional and rude. I paid alot of money for this trip and trusted them with my child. If a parent calls, I would hope that they could get an answer as to why the bus did not show up. read more
