A horrific experience with the new ownership that required a visit to my veterinarian after a week-long stay traumatized my little lady, and I chose to never use them again. That is until the (2nd) owner chose to sell the business to Graham and Kathleen - the newest owners of Puppy Love Playcare. Similar to the original owners, Kathleen and Graham also live on site. After learning of the new change in ownership, I chose to give them a call and spoke with Kathleen for quite some time. Kathleen was forthcoming and answered all of my questions. I then decided to give Puppy Love another try and am so thankful that I took the chance! My little old lady was terrified when we first pulled up and she realized where she would be staying. I'm sure she was remembering the trauma she had experienced with the previous owner. But after picking her up from that week-long stay, I couldn't have been happier. It took Kathleen and Graham a few days to get her to let down her guard and relax, but she finally did so. And she showed no signs of stress when it was time for her to come home. After such a positive experience, I chose to use Puppy Love again for a two night stay, with the same results. This time my little lady acclimated even faster and enjoyed herself even more. If you had previously used Puppy Love prior to Kathleen and Graham's becoming the new owners and are afraid to give it another try, either because of a bad experience or reading some of the horrible reviews posted during that period of time, I would suggest putting those fears aside and giving the new owners a try. Going forward this will be the only daycare or long-term boarding facility I will use for my little old lady.

My dog is skittish so I wasn't sure how her first ever grooming would go. Let's just say I am beyond happy! They far exceeded my expectations! I was able to get Phoebe in quickly. I waited less than 2 weeks to get her in. Her hair was very long and was becoming very matted from baths. I couldn't believe my eyes when I picked her up! It took 4 hours because of the work ahead. They have a system that just texts you when your dog is ready to be picked up. My dog looked absolutely gorgeous! The work that Jerrica did was top-notch. Phoebe looks like she's pageant ready! Haha! I highly recommend Dapper Dog. It was very affordable and they were clearly good with my dog because she didn't really want to leave when I picked her up! She loves it already which is so comforting. They are hardworking and love the dogs staying with them as their own. The dogs get plenty of outdoor and indoor run time. They have air filtration systems, expansive cleaning systems and more. All dogs staying get to use an included Kuranda bed and are welcome to bring any toys/blankies with them. I love how versatile they are with training field dogs, service dogs, regular training, and then day care.

They have been so kind and understanding in working with him (and me :) ) by slowly introducing him to all the new and fun things to do there. It was immediately apparent to me that they genuinely are about the safety, and well being of all the dogs there... and of course, the fun!!!
